Saints obviously said no. Not sure how we could conceive that they would even be an option.

"Small group."

Don't forget the cities as well in this. Most stadiums in the NFL are leased not owned by the owners. So when they use the stadium for multi-use and leverage that purpose as the driving factor for turf... they are to blame as well. Which also might make it hard for the NFLPA to get this overruled bc the city doesnt have any obligation to the NFL or the NFLPA.

I'm sure this a key question in his interviews as well. I can speculate but I can't speak matter of factly.... I think it is fair to assume Brunell/Staley might come as the OC. I'd assume there would be a veteran coach that would come in at DC, and potentially Luke in a defensive coaching role as well. I doubt we would move Tabor or Campen in this either.

It's time for the NFLPA to nut up or shut up.

Not sure about this. Sirianni will want to take back play calling duties, and I don’t think Reich will want a role where he isn’t calling the plays.

It will most likely be Mike McCoy

Honest answer, time. Life is pretty crazy right now and yet I use the huddle as a crutch and escape. I must be a masochist.

Is this hostility/sarcasm or an actual request? Bc if there is an actual desire, I will set aside time this weekend to bring it up to the forum. I dont mind contributing to constructive conversation.

Tepper clearly wants to change the Panthers identity
TheCasillas replied to Saca312's topic in Carolina Panthers
Getting Wilks offensive plan first, will allow Tepper/Fitt to play it back against the rest of the OCs to see how advanced/basic it is. The order of the interviews is becoming more intentional each day that goes by. -

I was incorrect on my role titling. She is the CAO. The President is Kristi Coleman. That being said, there should not be a "requirement" for sitting in on an interview. Reading people isnt a job experience trait.

Barry Switzer and Jimmy Johnson are the closest thing. McVay did have Wade Phillips.

Jalen Hurts did not look third string last year…don’t make stuff up. the Eagles didn’t draft a QB this past draft for a reason. The guy had respectable numbers last year and had 26 total TDs last year. So you cant take away hurts development and just give it to Steichen. steichen was booed out of Los Angeles. He was disliked by the fan base because of his horrendous play calling. Abandoning the run, deep balls on short downs, and wacky play designs for easy first downs. he has definitely improved as an OC for the Eagles, but a lot of reports are starting to come out that he isn’t the reason hurts was successful this year and that it was more on Johnson. I put in many hours of research on Steichen over the past month. As someone who started a thread on why we should hire Steichen back in week 4…. I’m considering starting a thread on why we should NOT hire Steichen now.

But yet he couldn’t get much out of the heralded Gardner Minshew….

Those knocking Wilks defense… he had half of the normal NFL staff this past season while trying to run the team. We had less than 4 defensive coaches. You have to remember that if you want to fairly critique him.

And apart of the Andy Reid coaching tree

There is a reason no one is requesting to interview kellen Moore. He is a young chud

I hope this plan gets leaked after the interview bc I’d love to know what he has up his sleeve. I wonder if the reich play is to be the OC rather than HC. Since he has isn’t confirmed to have an interview with us like the others. They worked out a deal, come OC for us and we will hire your daughter.

Who would you like to be on the list?

Is this the small group Fitts spoke of today? Feels a bit medium in size.

Scott Fowler Observer column on coaching hire
TheCasillas replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
not disagreeing but Wilks did beat a team with a winning record. Lions finished 9-8. Ive noticed that being said alot on the message board. He did beat the Lions, they do have a winning record. Cant take that from him. -
I hope @Mr. Scotpicked up the humor in these two tweets.
