Says in the report that we didn’t hire one of the 8 agencies to test Nicole. This is definitely a CYA for the NFL.
-
So the Panthers didn’t have a DEI Consultancy come in and test his wife. This is pretty wild… we started doing this at our company two years back and it’s really starting to get put in place at the banks. the biggest push is understanding the race of the individual and empathizing their path to where they are in that moment. It also stresses a path in which diversity is a driving component in a hiring decision. I honestly had no idea this was live at the HC level in the NFL.

Tom Pelissero believes the interview with Sean Payton tomorrow is Payton selling himself to Tepper and not Tepper selling us to Payton.
-
After? there will be whispers during their meeting even if its just the two of them. Thatds how the 24 hour news cycle works..... makeup poo to get clicks.

nooooooooo......

Im losing steam on wanting SP here. I liked the fact he would bring in a talented coaching staff and talent. However, the risk of losing picks and him destroying what is already in place by having full control... thats a big risk.

Lol... Im sure Sean Payton felt encouraged after that call.... probably hung up and said "what a fuging weirdo"

bout time. This is long overdue.

Possible London game next year at Titans

Charlotte FC defender Anton Walkes dies
TheCasillas replied to ladypanther's topic in Carolina Panthers
This is tragic. He was becoming a good player for FC as well. I feeel for his family.. losing someone that young is terrible. -
People seem to be sleeping on Mike Kafka as a candidate
TheCasillas replied to Ricky Spanish's topic in Carolina Panthers
As I called out in our bigger thread yesterday.... he is our 2a to Sean Payton. I like Kafka, and I like what he has been able to do with what little he had. Steichen has been stacked with talent on his roster anad surrounded by extremely talented coaches. Kafka is the horse of that giants offense. Andy Reid loved him as well. Id prefer Kafka over SP.- 85 replies

It's what he did it with not how much of it he did. That Giants roster had no business being as competitive as they were on offense this year.

Possible London game next year at Titans

take the bet on Ken Dorsey

Its the Bill travel day... not sure why it would be an issue for him to do an interview....?

Understood, I misunderstood LP's intent. I probably read it too fast. Apologies @ladypanther

This line reads as if he willl intentionally destroy the franchise if he doesnt win : He wants to come in, get his ring (or try) and leave the team in salary cap hell when he goes back to his cushy TV job and home in LA. Maybe I misunderstood what you were saying... but this reads pretty intentional.

Yeah but there is a difference between sharing from patterns, logic, and data vs emotions/feelings/bias... I think you are creating a narrative that just cant be supported by any real world observations or behaviors. Has there ever been a head coach that retired from one team, then went to another to intentionally destroy it?

Go on record now before the hire is made Re: Sean Payton
TheCasillas replied to GOAT's topic in Carolina Panthers
Better than what we currently have. He will be able lure talent to this franchise as well. I have no reason to be against this hire. -
What is your proof of this? This sounds like a wild assumption. He coached the Saints for 16 years... there is no data showing he would come in ruin a franchise and leave..

David Tepper.... Year 5 ownership, + and - of Tepper
TheCasillas replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
ah yes... the weekly Tepper makes me mad thread. Looking forward to next week's episode. -
Lamar could be gone……Article ahead.
TheCasillas replied to WarPanthers89's topic in Carolina Panthers
That deal would not make sense. The value of Horn is higher than a future first. I could see Panthers offering 2 firsts and a 2nd... but not a player, unless it created cap relief. -
He has already sparked that though by name dropping them both in his podcast, daughter's youtube series, and segment on Cowherd's show. There isnt really much he can do to add to it. I doubt he is in this just for the money.. the guy was making 10 million a year with Fox. Im sure he wants to come back to the NFL to compete not collect a paycheck. He was making more just commentating.

Just that we requested an interview with him. There has been a few videos and articles popping up about him and carolina. Nothing defining, just more exploratory.
