No man, the thought that a 5-6 year window of competing for a super bowl is short is the part that is baffling. Do you know how rare it is for a QB to make it through their entire second contract with a franchise? Teams dont have the same QB for 7+ years. In case you havent noticed the past two off seasons and now this upcoming ... teams moving on from QBs is extremely common. They cost too much for a franchise to maintain and acquire talent. In the last 20 years, there have been less than 15 total QBs who have played more than 7 seasons with a single team. 8 of those won a super bowl.... (Favre, WIlson, Brady, Brees, Rodgers, Ben, Manning 1, and Manning 2) Outside of Ben and Brady... those super bowl wins were within their first 7 seasons of being with that franchise... never won one after.

How will this coaching team effect free-agency?
TheCasillas replied to rayzor's topic in Carolina Panthers
As I said when we hired Reich... he is going to lure players here. This only exponentialized that possibility. -
he drunk

Considering we haven't leaked out any of our candidates.. I am sure we have. We could have interviewed Caldwell for OC as well... and hired him in another capacity.
-
You have to wonder with this new coaching staff in place... if we go get a veteran QB like Carr ... its bc this group wanted it. I wonder if a huddle meltdown would follow if that were to occur....

Would you trade 9 for Fields - straight up?

I dont know if the TB job is attractive right now. They have interviewed a lot of people for that role. It's viewed similiar to how the OC position was viewed here this time last year.

Sounds like CBS doesnt have an out on the Romo contract until 2024.... GO might have to take a show host role until something opens up. ESPN is the only network that needs new talent and arent stuck with ridic contracts. note: TB12 doesnt join Fox until 2024... so CBS could technically land GO in two years.

That spear to cam’s face was such poo.

Gettleman had a fuging ego. That was the Knock on him when we hired him. People around the league said he was hard headed and cocky. We lived it first hand.

The other piece not shown is when he tugs JuJu’s jersey so slow him down. That’s just the rules. As much as i complain about the refs and wanted to see more Super Bowl action…. I just can’t die on the hill of the refs blowing the game here. we’ve seen worse with basically nothing. This at least was a true infraction.

Different story and shitty outcome. We don’t need to relive that.

That photo is the definition of defensive holding. The refs were asked to crack down on it this year…. And boy did they choose the moment to crack down….
-
He hooked the hip on the zig, that was the moment the ref reached for his flag. If he didn’t hook the hip / “tug the Jersey” …. It’s possible JuJu is open. Not sure he gets a first but he is open. yeah I get it about the ending.

He could have said no comment.

Iirc that call was even more tick tack than this one…. Horn didn’t even grab… he just had his hands resting on the player’s hips.

It’s not a redline for me… I am just trying to help you with your social awareness around how you are setting up the image of yourself here. People aren’t gonna want to chat , debate with you or even reply to you with the way you are presenting yourself currently…

She announced before she went on tonight that she is pregnant again….

Really showing who you are as a person right now. Not the most favorable light.

We get a different perspective than they do. You can feel that way.. there is nothing wrong with it. We are fortunate to have replay and slow motion… they get one chance from a single perspective to make the right call. again, the ref didn’t make a bad call… he just made a call that us fans preferred he didn’t make at that point in the game.
