are we agreeing or are you claiming im a couch potato?

Probably bc he put on 20lbs for the combine weigh in... and gonna lose it for his pro day. I was so against the NFLPA getting rid of the combine.. but the more I see how fans treat it vs how it was original proposed ... they probably should end this. The NFL wont though... too much moneys

He already ran a 40 earlier in the year at KY. It was a 4.72... Scouts are estimating he will be in the mid 4.5 range. They already know this stuff. This is just fan fare right now.
-
I believe there are multiple groups for both positions. They only had 5 QBs running 40s... and they said CJ and AR coming up later today.
-
Any of these QBs can really skip today... and it wouldnt hurt their draft stock. Pro Days are the day where they cant fug up. As much as I hate to admit this, the 40 yard dash for QBs is kind of pointless. I actually enjoy knowing QBs 40 time but it doesnt really translate into high draft round positioning.

Per Matt Miller.. Panthers all in on Richardson?

Probably worth noting that almost 10% of the NFL’s current starting QBs were starting QBs at Alabama. -

I listened to the TCU kid... said he looked up to Devante Adams... sounded pretty calm and humble. Seemed like he'd be a good teammate.

Someone needs to keep CJ Stroud away from the microphone, haha.

Jalen Carter may be dropping after this

Funny how easy people forget that Tyreek Hill strangulated a woman. He was projected to go mid rounds before his forty time of 4.25 and then that put him in 2nd round territory. About 20 teams were interested in drafting him even after the news broke about his domestic abuse matter. The Chiefs were scrutinized for drafting him but later ... uhh forgiven? lol. This is why Jalen Carter's issue at this moment.... should not impact his draft status. It is plausible that this poo poo happens coincidentaly before the draft because a team's resource was able to find dirt that they could leak to get the player to drop into their lap. So you see reports like this bubble up (in this case reopened) and opportunities created. As of now... there is nothing in the testimonies or police report that could directly link Jalen to manslaughter, so the charges will remain minimal. So his draft status probably wont be impacted. Although it’s a tragic and horrific situation that involved the loss of two human lives, the NFL angle arises from the potential impact of the charges on Carter’s draft standing. Based on the charges filed to date, the impact should be minimal. Again, it makes the situation no less tragic. But Carter wasn’t driving the car that crashed. At worst, based on the current charges, he participated in an illegal race that resulted in one of the cars crashing. Carter has expressed confidence that he will be fully exonerated of any criminal wrongdoing. Even if he isn’t exonerated as to the charges filed to date, it shouldn’t impact him. -

https://databases.usatoday.com/nfl-arrests/+ The story tells itself. -
The dude had some duds with us last year (Bucs game), but he also had some really great games. If you show up great on tape.. franchises see opportunity. I mean look at what CJ did with our last coaching staff... now put a competent staff in place for him and we could be eating our words. I totally understand the humor around this thread, but at the same time... it can be just as quickly seen as a short sighted view.

I cant believe the OP is surprised, especially with Daniel Jones asking for 45million per year. We are bias here. He is 24 years old and has elite athleticism. Players get paid on that notion alone.

that is not the topic here... if you think every team in the NFL does the "right" thing... then i have some pretty interesting stories to share with you.... Let's start with HoF'r Ray Lewis. -

Yes it does. If he isn’t charged with manslaughter, nfl teams won’t blink an eye drafting him. -
If any trading up occurs, it won’t happen until after all of the interviews and combine results are in. So potentially Saturday night at the earliest. Iirc these things happen before the pro days and not during the combine.
