  1. I understand that you are attempting to use Darnold and Warner to make a statement, but there is a lot wrong with that figurative comparison. I am not sure why you did not use AJ Brown as your comparison, it would have been much easier because it is a very similiar sitation: (65 receptions, 5 TDs, 869yds) traded for a first round pick. You stated in your original post that you used the Packers offer for DJ Moore as your barometer. That just isnt the right way to view it. If someone offers you 10k for your house, does that means that is what it is worth? no. If you want to use data and math you have to use a based value, not a situationally perceived value like the Packers trying to acquire DJ Moore during a franchise low point. DJ Moore's market value would start at his original pick worth in the framing of your math. I feel like this has to make sense to you in relation to your post.
  2. I think you have to give Moore his original pick value for this math to add up. Mainly bc he has met expectations as a first rounder. Original pick value would track as opposed to assumed trade value during a point in which teams thought the Panthers were in middle of a fire sale. So the math would be r1 p 24 which =740
  3. At this point the real Dark Horse is Richardson. @mrcompletely11 tagging you in here bc i know you are a huge fan of AR. There is actual traction that our two choices for 1 is AR and CJ. The team wanted a month to make this decision, and these are the two they are in love with. I have an actual source that I met with last night for drinks who works inside the building at BoA. He isnt high on the food chain, but was able to stumble upon this nugget. That being said, he did caveat with "anything can change, especially at the end of the month."
  4. Excellent content. Thank you for sharing!
  5. I heard tepper was the one who convinced luke to retire. He also told the doctor to misdiagnose cam’s shoulder. He also paid Firestone to fug up cam’s truck tires so that his truck would flip. let’s not forget, Tepper is the reason we signed Rodney peete!
  6. False. Nothing will beat Sean Gilbert
  7. It’s gonna be stroud. I’m not angry about it. I will also accept a swap with the Texans , so that the colts don’t jump the Texans.
  8. My favorite line of the off-season “we don’t have the collateral to trade for the number 1 pick. We fuged up by not trading burns.”
  9. The huddle can be a good place. No wonder I spend about 10% of my life on it....
  10. I hope to do an indepth breakdown next week with screens and descriptions. As an example for those on here who are saying that Levis can't read the field: As JTS calls out here, WL is already making this throw before the reciever even makes his cut. He sees that the defense is running a C3-Cloud Zone coverage which leaves the middle of the field open with how the SS has his back turned to the hash marks. 3 easy reads from this single play: 1. WL can read a defense 2. WL can throw to an anticpated player being open 3. WL's footwork has drasticaly improved but still needs work from this screen. Hopefully it continues. Sure, you can say : it's just one play. However, if you can do it one play you can do it every play with the right coaching. This is why Reich is rumored to be about WL. He knows he can coach him. Im sure McCown thinks it too.
  11. It’s been a hell week at work and it’s my birthday. Haven’t Had a chance to really dive in. Plus I eat up a lot of space in these threads… need to give people a chance. Haha I’ll be coming in hot next week while I’m off work all week.
  12. And we got a bunch of picks for 18 million in dead cap.
  13. Thanks @Martinsomeone actually created this exact thread about a month ago with these videos. Maybe we can merge these and pin it?
  14. and they said he had sloppy footwork....
  15. ESPN's Dianna Russini reports "there's optimism in the Jets’ organization that they are on the brink" of acquiring Aaron Rodgers. Jets officials, including owner Woody Johnson, met with Rodgers in "extensive" talks this week, according to Russini, and Johnson left the sit-down "excited and satisfied" with Rodgers' potential fit in the Jets offense. Russini said the Packers and Jets "remain engaged in conversations about compensation and contract" and that "those conversation already started before the meeting." With the Packers reportedly ready to move on from their longtime quarterback, Rodgers could become a Jet in the coming days -- barring a last-minute change of heart for the mercurial QB. The Jordan Love era in Green Bay seems close at hand, and the Zach Wilson era in New York appears over.
  16. This thread points to a mechanism that helps forecast the transition.
  17. The cost. The falcons have a lot of holes on their roster and they might believe QB isn’t one of them.
