They released Slay bc of the money he wants. I dont think it would be smart for us to even try to afford him.

I dont believe we will but i hope we avoid a pricing war with any team for Thielen. The name is nice but the on the field production has an expiration timer on it. -
Panthers sign Bengals TE Hayden Hurst
TheCasillas replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Panthers are expected to sign TE Hayden Hurst, formerly of the Bengals, to a three-year contract. In Hurst's lone season with the Bengals, he caught 52 passes for 414 yards and two touchdowns while being among the league leaders in tight end pass routes. The always-inefficient Hurst, entering his age-30 seasons, would immediately start for the Panthers as the team's primary pass-catching tight end, dashing the hopes of every remaining Tommy Tremble truther. Hurst is well positioned to be a frustrating streaming option for fantasy managers in 2023. -

I am not as excited as I would have been if it were Gisecki, but this is a good signing. -

ASHTON DULINWR, INDIANAPOLIS COLTS Colts re-signed WR Ashton Dulin. Dulin, 25, was an interesting prospect with a breakout age of 18 and a 95th percentile speed score. The Colts used him both in the slot and on the outside during his limited playing time last year. He had a 31.5 percent target share over the season's first two games in 2022 as the team struggled with wideout injuries. Dulin could be an interesting name to watch if the Colts don't add much receiver help in the draft. SOURCE: Adam Schefter on Twitter Mar 15, 2023 at 8:20 AM ET ARDEN KEYEDGE, TENNESSEE TITANS Titans signed Arden Key, formerly of the Jaguars, to a three-year, $24 million deal, with $13 million guaranteed. Key was valued as situational pass rusher with the Jaguars while they made their playoff run. He followed up a 6.5-sack season as a 49er in 2021 with 4.5 in 2022. Key is being brought in to help keep the Titans front seven afloat and finally cashed in after a slow start to his career. He’ll provide depth playing alongside Harold Landry and Rashad Weaver. SOURCE: Mike Garafolo on Twitter Mar 14, 2023 at 10:38 PM ET BYRON MURPHYDB, MINNESOTA VIKINGS Vikings signed CB Byron Murphy to a two-year, $22 million contract. Murphy was one of the top corners on the market during this year's free agent cycle, and he'll now head to Minnesota to take the place of recent departure Patrick Peterson. The Vikings are in the midst of a massive overhaul on the defensive side of the ball, but Murphy is a step in the right direction as the team searches for a new identity. Murphy's coverage grades are down over the previous two seasons but the aggressive corner is still highly capable given the right defensive scheme.

Panthers showing interest in RB Jamaal Williams
TheCasillas replied to Saca312's topic in Carolina Panthers
If Williams is cheaper than foreman, then it makes sense. They are basically the same back. id prefer sanders but we’d have to get a short yardage back regardless. -

False dilemma doesn’t make sense in your statement. You can say “stop trying to create a dilemma” but that wouldn’t be correct either. a dilemma is a problematic scenario where you have to make a decision on multiple possible outcomes. this isn’t a dilemma. Nothing about what I said is a “dilemma.” It’s an evaluation based on understanding the competition. I guess really the only dilemma that has been created is you deciding whether or not to put in the effort to understand the falcons better. I don’t think we can take this much further…bc I am just sharing we need to not be so confident about our division being the weakest. The falcons have a good chance of being competitive this year. Hence them going all in on spending. -

I’m on phone right now watching a movie with my wife (draft day). I can’t go into depth but I can later when im At my keyboard. I will say “overpay” doesn’t matter if you have a poo load of cap and want to secure your player. Part of bringing in talent is paying them. The falcons upgraded all 3 levels of their defense over the last two days, added another dynamic tight end, and secured their oline. they attacked their gaps on their roster and filled them. They got an underrated LB and a solid run defending DT. They have a beast at FS now and have their stud corner coming back from injury. They also upgraded their defensive staff. laslty, we need to be careful knocking ridder. He played a handful of games last year, did not turn the ball over and got better each game. His best quality was his maturity and intelligence. He showed that last year. we can be bias all we want, but we have to keep some semblance of balance when understanding the competition in our division. -

Ask me after the draft. Tampa will be bad, no doubt there. falcosn and saints have done some serious roster upgrading over the last 10 days and that can not be overlooked. -

If you haven’t followed their acquisitions … then why did you call my take silly? When you haven’t even kept track…. Smh. if you think the falcons are lost… you are not in tune with our division. -

And they have acquired 9 players, 6 of which are immediate starters for their roster. 4 of them were top rated at their position.
