If I’m not mistaken, if Thielen retires during those void years they go off of the books (dead cap wise). It’s possible they are banking on that. also, the eagles did the void years with a players during their Super Bowl victory seasons, and somehow they were able to get the void years Goff the books. I need to brush up on it, but mainly there are ways around them.

I mean, Id be cool with acquiring Jeudy... but I dont understand the opinion of the Huddle around thinking is a great reciever. He is a locker room risk, injury proned, and inconsistent week to week. He struggles against bigger corners who handle him at the line and is not going to beat his man in the air. Broncos shopping him has more benefit for the Broncos than the team getting Jeudy.

Did some thinking this morning and I am realizing that this is the most concealed that this office has ever been. Seems like every expert, analyst, or media source has been dead wrong when trying to forecast what our plan is. If you think about recent years under who shal not be named ... we knew everything and our moves were predictable. So here is my question to the huddle.... Why do you think this is? How have we become so good at keeping things internal? My theory: Respect. I believe our FO/Staff has a lot of respect around the league and when they have conversations with other offices, they keep the door shut. Let me know your thoughts.

Diggs just restructured his contract, so you can scratch him off the list. Tyler Boyd is in the final year of his contract, and the bengals would have saved a lot of money to get a free agent if they had traded him before the start of FA. So this seems unlikely. There is no incentive for the bengals to trade him. It would cost the Seahawks 25 million in dead cap to trade Lockett this year… that’s not gonna happen. Keenan Allen restructured two weeks ago, and trading him would cost the chargers more than it would keeping him on the roster… by a large margin. 40 milllion in dead/lost cap!!!! michael Pittman….. that is a possibility though…. I just don’t think the colts would offer for him for anything lesss than a 2nd… not sure he is worth that tbh.
