Trading Up to 3 or 5 - A Look Into the Potential Cost**
TheCasillas replied to SetfreexX's topic in Carolina Panthers
I am really a fan of trading for a DW or trading back in this draft. The college COVID season really concerns me about the talent in the draft. -
Aaron Rodgers' presser: moving on?

That packers roster is way better than the Patriots. You dont even have to look further than the o-line, WRS and RBs...... -

Rodgers won’t go to NE. That place is in a tough spot talent wise. But who knows. -
If you look at the upcoming FAs they are going to lose a lot of key players on that D. You are correct a jimmy G. I was just stating we have very similar rosters on paper
-
They are the exact same situation as us. 38 players going to FA, expensive under performing QB and many weapons on offense with o line troubles.
-
And it’s two divisional opponents... this is to drive the market. If those two get into a bidding war, it will help the Texans get into a prime situation. this is a pure trade bloat play
-
I’m surprised by this because Watson left Houston bc their owner did not do enough for the community. The jets owner is worse... hah this feels very price tag driving. Almost intentional leaked to start the market.

Fox analyst says he heard that Watson has interest in Panthers!

If two franchises agree to make a deal, they work together to align on all that it takes to make it happen. -

Seems like only days ago some of us were accused of making this poo up. -
I wonder how many GMs said they would keep TB during the interview process....

The QB school video that I posted earlier in the month in another thread actually goes through his lowlights. Shows how he can get a little cocky/showboat-y on the field and turns into irresponsible play Enders. I’d suggest def checking it out. It also talks about the concepts that BYU ran that helped make Zach successful as well. Let’s not forget the competition in his division during a CoVID year.

The highest ive seen him project is a 2nd round pick. His injury history doesnt help the trade value. It's not a matter of missed games, its that matter of the beating his body has taken.

Start up mentality is basically "group think" and disruptor mentality. Expect our approach to FA/Drafting be something the NFL hasn't seen before.

Every year and every situation is different. No rule of thumb on this. I mean who would have thought of Hopkins going for what he did was unreal.
-
Imagine if we had a decent QB that year....
-
You can say the same thing about Watson but 9 less wins if you include injury. Both are data points you could use to make the same argument.
-
It's Panthers football, im always enthused. However, I wont be expecting a win, but rather hoping for a win.

I misread your original post, I thought it said name a team that was carried to the super bowl by the running back. None of what I said was a stretch. Those teams rode their running backs to the Super Bowl. Great qbs need a great defenses too.

Mass hasslebeck rookie Ben (9/23 126 yard and 2 INT 22.6 passer rating) Trent Dilfer
-
it has been done. I won’t say it’s common but it has happened Jerome Bettis Shaun Alexander Jamal Lewis
-
The same amount as Watson.... lol they both have 28 wins since entering the league. edit: Watson has 10 less wins.
