  1. For me.... David Gettis.... i went out with the dude muiltiple times to Suite... he was such a fun personality. I thought that 49ers game where he had 8 catches 120+ yards and 2 TDs... was his breakout game and he was on his way to be a great receiver.
  2. The thing about Wentz is that he never controlled the locker room. There are multiple articles out there stating that he played the game selfishly and wasn’t a team player. Tbh I don’t think he brings the leadership and poise to the locker room that you need from the position. https://insidetheiggles.com/2020/12/20/carson-wentz-argument-bad-teammate/amp/ https://247sports.com/nfl/philadelphia-eagles/Article/Carson-Wentz-Eagles-controversy-not-universally-loved--128116705/
  3. Im good either way... both are wins compared to where we currently are.
  4. I dont think this is a trade that would be for anythign more but to get more ammo to trade up or down in the draft or for Watson
  5. my bad, i meant that out of genuine curiosity... i think i came off negative-- my bad.
  6. why would we want Jimmy G? The guy is injury prone and disapears when it matters most.
  7. I don’t think it’s a matter of “not going to happen” but stafford was a certainty that was 100% available for trade and didn’t involve trading the next two years of picks away to get. That being said, we will be in the conversation if Watson officially goes on the block and this is encouraging as well.... https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.tigernet.com/amp/update/Report-Deshaun-Watson-has-interest-in-playing-for-Panthers-37306
  8. The tough thing about those contracts is that they are all over the league. There are many players in the league with ridiculous contracts. I dont agree with the CMC contract, I think it was earned, but i understand where you are coming from with Shaq and TB. Honeslty, I really do think we see TB moved without much struggle this offseason. IF we find another QB.
  9. It's fair to think the franchise has a move in play for how they will handle this after this offseason. Maybe its in line with what you are proposing. Moving TB wont be as hard as we think.
  10. your rant will be deemed useless one year from now. poo maybe even 4-6 weeks from now. LSS: its a short term deal that will not impact us after this offseason.
  11. A: A team trading for TB is paying for a QB that is middle of the road when it comes to contract cost, for a QB its very reasonable. He is the 19th highest paid QB, and will drop lower after this off season. B: The third year has a team out see screen shot:
  12. What I am stating is that TB's contract isnt as bad as this message board portrays. There is an out prior to the 3rd year, and we would have to pay out the majority of this year's value if we traded him. So any team taking on TB is going to get a cheap 1 year rental.
  13. https://raiderramble.com/2021/01/14/raiders-qb-derek-carr-trade-49ers/ Interesting price tag in this article.
  14. Jacoby is a free agent https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/indianapolis-colts/jacoby-brissett-19045/
  15. The colts would. Especialyl if they draft a young qb. They dont have a qb on the roster with NFL experience. Also, if we trade TB - whatever team that gets him , wil have him on a one year deal with the majority of the deal paid for by us. Its not going to be hard to offload Teddy.
  16. Mike Brown trades draft picks quite often. He doesn't trade players, picks are always up for grabs. https://stripehype.com/2021/01/23/bengals-trade-back-far-more-often-than-up-in-nfl-draft/
  17. 100% yes. Derek Carr is a solid QB and just needs weapons. He is mobile, accurate and solid arm strength. Just bc he is on a losing team doesn't mean he is a bad QB. poo, in 2016 Derek Carr was the reason they got to the playofffs. Plus his contract is affordable too and I can't imagine his price tag being higher than a 2nd round pick. I love this idea. Still want Watson though.
  18. This post makes me question your intelligence.
  19. First round pick for an establish proven QB seems like a no brainer to me. Better than the fail rate of qbs picked in the first round. Plus Stafford's contract is more than manageable and wont go any higher. I want watson over stafford, so I'm not butt hurt here. However, to say that this was a move of desperation couldn't be anymore inaccurate.
