  1. I’m so confused. What does he mean by this is year 4?
  2. I mean we can only hope they do that right? haha.. that would benefit us and make them a non competitive team in division. Falcons do not want a Aaron Rodgers/Jordan Love situation on their hands.
  3. nice. you guys got a nice win last night against my blue devils. its not our year.
  4. Everything in ATL feels like they want to stay put and draft defense, or trade back and find a RB. The new GM wants to get the running game going again. Arthu Blank said he isnt closing the door on the idea of a drafting a QB... it's fair to assume he is just drumming interest for the pick for teams who ataully NEED a qb. They are just driving value. I'd be shocked if a first time head coach and GM want to make their mark with drafting a bench player their first year.
  5. for someone who knows very little about whats happening in that franchise, you sound so certain. For this, I disagree. Falcons will trade back before selecting a QB. If they are smart, they stay put and draft an extremly talented defensive player.
  6. The falcons are NOT going to pick a QB. It is not even close to the the needs of that team. Plus the team has been pretty vocal about Ryan and Julio. https://bloggingdirty.com/2021/02/01/atlanta-falcons-arent-drafting-qb/
  7. never under estimate the huddle....
  8. There are only 2 teams ahead of us that wil likely draft a QB. Considering Lance is the 4/5 best QB in the draft... im not concerned. Also, if somehow 4-5 QBs are drafted before we pick... thats a ridiculous amount of talent available for us at 8... I'd rather kick the can on a FA or Middle round pick for someone like Darnold.
  9. So in the Stafford trade, we offered a 1st, 5th and Teddy. Which pick was us "paying" for Teddy? the 5th? The WFT offered a 1st, and a 3rd and nothing else....
  10. They go with hurts, unless they are stacking picks to go after watson.
  11. I will stop opening panthers hypothetical trade threads on the huddle
  12. Humor me. In what way? They don’t have a single trait in common.
  13. He went 6-3 with 17 total TDs and 67% completion rate (bears franchise record) this season. He missed some throws, yes.. but it isn’t a mechanics piece. He is also in one of shittiest offensive systems in the league. Hence why Nagy will NOT bc the OC and HC next year. Just the HC. not saying Mitch is a world beater, but in the next system he plays... I bet he will turn some heads.
  14. From what I’ve read is that the locker room loves hurts. I think this is more about wentz being gone than anything about Watson. However, the eagles can stack picks to get Watson pending how the wentz trade goes. they will be able to offer multiple firsts, hurts, and additional picks pending how this deal goes down.
  15. This same anthony Miller? https://www.google.com/amp/s/bearswire.usatoday.com/2021/01/15/has-anthony-miller-played-his-last-down-with-the-bears/amp/ anthony Miller has been downright awful. I watch bears game almost as much as panthers. Their WR corps will be overhauled this offseason. They played bad with both foles and Mitch. david Montgomery was their third best receiver. Trubisky wasn’t the problem, it’s the entire roster of the bears on offense that’s the problem.
  16. Damn good receivers? Bears were top 5 in dropped catchable balls.... outside of Robinson they had no one.
  17. Kind of tough to use this chart because we intentionally used 2020 to eat all dead cap. It was a strategy not an accident.
  18. I agreed with everything here except his Derek Carr comments. But yeah, in my eyes it really only comes down to Trey or Deshaun.
  19. They will roll with Jalen hurts... they have a bigger need at WR and Secondary.
  20. What? How? We offered far less than what the rams gave up and were inches away from scoring a deal...
