Honestly, the leak is possibly coming out of houston to drum up interest... In all honesty as Peter King said we are the only team that has publicy came out and said we are going after Watson. So ... why not put us in a self inflicted bidding war? Broncos are perfect example, bc they pick right behind us.. and have mentioned bringing in competition San Fransisco is your other conference competitor in this trade. It is evident that HOU wont want to trade within the conference. At the end of the day... SF and DEN most likely cant match what Tepper will put on the table.

I’m sure he is going to take a one year or two year deal around 6-8 million. He is a good leader on defense and when healthy top at position. Injury risk for sure, but it’s a high risk high reward situation.

His agent may have asked the Panthers to not tender him as RFA ... maybe Efe wanted a payday and we just dont see the value of spending money at the postion.

Fuller is a RA clone. Plus I dont think its Watson we need to entice....

Donte Jackson graded out really strong last year when healthy. One of the best in the league matter of fact. I think we lean into that this year. Im also working udner the assumption we will offer him in the Watson deal if it comes to fruition. If that were to be the case, I am sure we would backfill him with a short term contract with someone like Hayward. I know Snow has mentioned that he was proud of pride. I dont see the team pulling the plug on him any time soon. CB is one of the hardest postiions to learn in the NFL.

those are some good notes. If we are looking to sign a DE, you have to wonder if we are planning on trading one... Smart move by CMC to stay out of the noise.

ATL and PHI arent taking a QB with their picks. They are more likely to trade back than grab a QB. The own of the eagles pretty much said "build the offfense around hurts"

Patriots lost 4 games by a single score in 2020, and another 2 with Stidham/Hoyer at QB.... If the majority of people here thinks that Brady would not have won those games.... that is a little concerning. The reverse scenario would both end up the same. A losing season for the carolina panthers. Our defense was nowhere as good as NE's this year.
