Im more curious about her inside gap control

I feel like we are spending the cap that can be spent on Watson. Can this still happen?
-
Does this include the season he missed due to injury?
-
Both @Verge and Stanley McClover said that BB is not going to be in the deal.
-
I think it would be more YGM than BB.

3-3-5 / 4-2-5 is what we saw a lot of last year

fixed.

The Rams have traded away 8 first round picks since 2016... That FA you spoke of was in 2016 and they havent been able to spend poo since in an offseason.

poo. Here is the baseline: Dan Patrick reports the Bears offered three first round draft picks, a third-round pick, and two unnamed starters to the Seahawks for Russell Wilson. Perhaps the Wilson trade would have happened if the Bears had a top-five draft pick this year and Seattle could have started fresh with one of the draft's top QBs. Wilson going to Chicago would have likely meant late first round picks for Seattle in the coming years as well. It wasn't enough for the Seahawks to trade away their franchise player, who stays put for now. Meanwhile, Bears fans are readying themselves for the Andy Dalton era. -

What I was referring to is that he has football operations expereince. So he isnt completly brand new to understanding how a franchise is run. How we runs it we wont know until about year 5-7. -

Huh? Deshaun watson has a 40 million dollar cap hit every year until he is a FA.... Thats not team friendly at all. As for CMC, he has a 14- 17mil dollar cap hit for every season following this one... How is that more palatable for a team to take on? CMC doesnt get cheap until his final year at 14 million and that is in 2026. Also, you are incorrect on the Salary cap for 2022, the NFL is currently borrowing 10 million (20mm total) from the cap in both 2022 and 2023 to avoid have the cap sub 180 this year. Based off of last year's revenue the cap was only slated to be 162million, but they know how much that would have handicapped the league and players, they elected to borrow money from future caps. They took a loan against themselves. So even though the cap is estimated to grow in 2022 based on pre-covid revenue, the highest it could be at is 210 million. -

We have more reason to think he is smart than we do that he is stupid... what proof do we have that he has done something stupid enough to question his intelligence? -

Trrading CMC is virtually impossible after the restructure. We would have over 30million in dead cap over the next 2 seasons, and it would eat our cap this year too. -

Its fair to say that he doesnt have the football smarts, but you dont have to be a genius to understand the kind of talent that Watson brings to the table. To call him stupid... thats pretty extreme. The guy was a co-owner of ths Steelers for a long time as well. So he understands how football operations are run. -

What is an example of what he has done that matches something Snyder would do? -

How can you say that the richest owner in the NFL is stupid? As for the money piece, there is no way that the Panthers dont restructure Watson's deal once they land him.... I expect them to match the Mahomes contract or standardize that. -

So A or B? haha. At the end of the day the team is putting all their eggs in one basket: Find a qb. -

Not saying im in alignment with this deal, but is it safe to say its an overpay? We really wouldnt know until 3-5 years from now. If Watson comes here and continues on his track record, and we send then burns and brown in return, but burns struggles with injuries and turns out last year Brown's talent was actually his ceiling.... did we over pay? Then the inverse is Watson comes and gets hurt and they go to be pro bowlers. It's just tough to say what is overpaying in this situation, especially since this is the first time this has ever happened in the league. -
I couldnt find my tin foil hat before I read this.... so it didnt make sense to me.
