  1. The only untradable player for Carolina appears to be safety Jeremy Chinn, who is entering his third year.
  2. Why would the Texans trade him to a team in their division? That makes no sense. In NFL even if an opponnent in your division offers you the house, you still take the deal outside of your division.
  3. They can’t afford him. Bucs are -10m in gap right now and saints are -25m and still paying Brees. im not sure why deshaun would want to go to the saints anyways, they are a year away from total rebuild.
  4. They have to let their center walk, remove the franchise tag from godwin and let him walk. They already lost their starting guard who retired. They'd have to restructure barrett and evans, and then trade one of their primary linebackers. They are falling over, and this trade would put them in a worse position then us. Basically just strip them down naked. This would leave them with little cap next year too.
  5. how do the bucs land him with -10 million in cap right now? Even "releasing" tom brady only gets them to above 10million over the cap
  6. When mcdaniels was on the pat mcafeee show last week, he was very adamant about tua, stood up for tua and spoke to how tua will be successful in his offense. it wasn’t a “I can’t wait to coach tua” in passing convo
  7. Why are the dolphins listed there? Coach McDaniel said Tua is the right guy and going to be great for the Dolphins.
  8. none of the coaches i listed in my reply to you had NFL experience before they took on their jobs either... You arent born into the NFL....
  9. If his job is to look at player tendencies, why does it matter how good he was at football? Was BB one of the best players in football history? how about Sean McVay? Sean McDermott? You dont have to be athletic to see tendencies or decisions on the field decisions. poo we do it here, and get it right at least 50% of the time...
  10. Isnt his role to just scout the offense from a defensive perspective? His role is to scout the offense, and tell them what signs they are showing, tells, or repetitive play calls. McVay, Shanahan, and BB do this same thing for their offenses.
  11. Better than joe Brady’s approach of “intentionally never watching any film on Sam Darnold” before we traded for him. Just so he wouldn’t have his own opinion of him before he got here.
  12. They will be fine https://riggosrag.com/2022/03/09/carson-wentz-trade-impacts-commanders-2022-salary-cap/
  13. They gave up 2 3rds and swapped 2nd. They essentially traded a 3rd and a 4th pick for Wentz (since the 3rd is next year). Thats not really premium price to pay. This is a low risk move for them, because they can wipe their hands free after this season if it doesnt work out. and how am I supposed to get that point from "Commies took Wentz's entire contract"
  14. its still going to take at least a first and a second early round pick to follow. Teams dont want to give up that capital when they can land established QBs for far less. Thats just how it goes.
  15. Who is going to tell @Zod that Wentz can be cut next offseason with zero dead cap in the years to follow?
  16. Its not a matter of the prospects available in the draft, its what it costs to move up to grab a QB prospect
  17. the same thing happened last offseason.... the offseason QB carousel is a thing now
  18. the meh is calling him a diamond the rough. No one is discounting his season. If he was drafted in the 3rd 4th round, then yeah we could call him a diamond in the rough. However, he is a first round qaurterback doing what a 1st round QB is expected to do.
  19. Justin Fields throwing motion vs Willis's throwing motion are miles apart. Fields will continue to struggle in the NFL due to his slow low throwing motion. That played a huge role in all of his turnovers last year.
  20. A first round QB is not a diamond in the rough. I get that its hard to hit, but diamond in then rough after one year...? Meh.
  21. Josh Allen literally went through this in 2018 .... and none of the above happened.
  22. Hey yal let me give you a very extreme and radical example to prove my point
  23. Les Snead turned that franchise into a winning football franchise. McVay is a big deal, but Snead deserves a lot of credit.
  24. That’s fair. I’m sure you hated Kobe and Big Ben as well. The problem is that the sports world forgets as soon you start winning. looked how the announcers praised Antonio brown during the late season run for the buccaneers. I respect you stepping away from the sport completely if Watson ends up playing again. That’s one step in the right direction in making a statement. i will say if this is a mental illness for Watson, and he ends up getting treated for it…. Those dark clouds will follow until he gets better.
