Just watched Keeeppounding_TV's latest episode. He made some good points that the Texans dont really have a need for someone like Jeremy Chinn, and they would have our 6th pick and their 3rd. So whatever we are offering them would have to be their weakpoints on their roster: 1. IDL 2. Pass rusher 3. WR 4. RB 5. QB (of course)

No. McVay came out and said straight up after their playoff loss in 2020 that they needed to upgrade the QB position. He gave Goff zero votes of conifdence. They created the opportunity with Stafford. Stafford and McVay are friends off of the field, and were with each other in cancun with their lives when the trade talks about Stafford first started.

The 2nd first round pick offered by the Rams was for the Lions to take on the contract of Goff. It wasnt 2 firsts just for stafford. The rams paid the lions to pay goff. Stafford chose the rams over us. It wasnt a bidding war. Trading goff was the only way the Rams could take on staffords contract. You should read up on how that deal went down. It was a respectful moves by the Lions franchise for Stafford.

The article is pretty optimisitic, and we just restructured another contract moments ago. If there is a player involved in the trade from our side, we dont need to move any more money around . The Panthers, with only about $31 million in cap space and only about $13 million to use toward free agency, can create enough space to make that work.

Its plausible, because if we are trading players in return on this deal and not just draft picks, that creates space as well. No telling who it will be, and there isnt mant options that would give us a shitload of money back, but with one or two more restructures and traded player(s)... D Watson and Armstead could happen. It will take some fancy money moves by Samir Didnt mean to confuse you, I was just stating that the weighted portion of the contract is paid for. So we could extend his deal and spread the numbers out if we end up landing him.

As of this very moment, there are only 9 teams that can afford a Watson trade, one of those teams on this list is actively restructuring contracts daily..... 1 Indianapolis Colts 2 Miami Dolphins 3 Seattle Seahawks 4 New York Jets 5 Chicago Bears 6 Jacksonville Jaguars 7 Cincinnati Bengals 8 Las Vegas Raiders 9 Carolina Panthers

Welp, doest look like we qualify for Deshaun.

Why would the Texans trade him to a team in their division? That makes no sense. In NFL even if an opponnent in your division offers you the house, you still take the deal outside of your division. -

They can’t afford him. Bucs are -10m in gap right now and saints are -25m and still paying Brees. im not sure why deshaun would want to go to the saints anyways, they are a year away from total rebuild.
