    Voidable years. Its how Loomis wrote up the deal. Its a pretty wild contract tbh but that is what he does. He will cost the Saints 13million this year alone, whether he is on the roster or not.

    but if it saves them cap space, then why not? Armstead has 3 years of dead cap on the books for the Saints, costing them 20million if they let him go elsewhere. He should be signed regardless of the situation.

    right? Im really curious to why Terron Armstead's name hasnt come up today... even via the Saints, bc according to the saints fan in this thread, the Saints would save 30million on the spot by re-signing him. Why the delay?

    Looks like the Saints are trying to reel in Landry. However, if you are Landry, do you really want to go to the saints with an undetermined QB situation and the chiefs being your other option...

    Adding a people element to this, if the meeting with us was Rhule and Tepper, and the meeting with NO was Dennis Allen and Mickey Loomis.... if you were watson wouldnt you kinda be pissed that the owner of the saints didnt come? lightly disrpecting, considering why he wants to leave the texans in the first place

    We have a better coaching staff than the saints. The HCs cancel each other out. However, we have much more senior talent than they do

    That would be a legit signing. We have money to go get players. If the contract numbers are mid level ... then we are still in the race. If we brank the bank on someone though...then we can assume that.
