its seemed like the right time to use that gif... i didnt get a chance over the last 96 hours, hahaha. -
Something for us all to note.... our defense didnt have an identity last year, and with these signings... we are definitely taking on the identiity of hitting you in the mouth ..... we got some big nast hitters in this FA... and we still havent seen who this mysterious safety is...

i wont disagree with you there. -
I think the CB market is going to experience what the Safety market has been feeling lately. Their value has lowered quite a bit. The difference between an elite player vs a good player is a large margin in cost.

If Rhule can run the team like he said when he was hired.... then I think we will surprise the league this year. Rhule shared when he was hired he would run the team like a business, and let the coaches coach while he provides guidance and direction. Last year it seemed he was in the weeds. With the senior staff we have this year, i think he goes back to his original plan. -

what have you seen? the latest tweet this am was "between LV and CAR for Gilmore"
-
Its been reported that we like Willis the most
-
It sounds like its Raiders or us. AFC West gonna be tough AF ahha
-
I think we are chasing Gilmore

2-4-5 was our primary defense last year (55%) ... Every team runs a type of nickel more than anything else in this day and age. With Chinn playing full time Joker/Monster (assumption) that will most likely lean us into a big nickel.

Kearse is a performer. BIG hitting safety. The kid is 6'4 and a monster. -
I really think we are going to bring in 2 more players on defense at least. Then go get an olineman. Aside from QB... this will be a strong free agency.... Also, pretty cool that talented players are signing with us. Especially with all of the negativity lately.

If we are going after another defensive player... I have a feeling Tepper called Scott last night and said: "Go get me a defense that will make Watson's Sunday endings not so happy..." -
My plan: Root for the team. Their plan from my hopes: Sign Bozeman. Go get Corey Littleton. Snag Clowney at vet min.

Im only answering your question here, so dont shoot the messenger.... Last 20 years... 1. Sean McVay - won superbowl his 4th year with Rams 2. Andy Reid - won superbowl his 6th year with Chiefs 3. John Harbaugh - won superbowl his 5th year 4. Tom Coughlin - won super bowl his 8th year 5. Tony Dungy - won super bowl his 5th year 6. Mike McCarthy - won super bowl his 6th year 7. Billl Cowher - won super bowl his 15th year The rest are: 1. Bill B (year 3) 2. Bruce Arians (year 2) 3. Pete Carroll (year 3) 4. Jim Caldwell (year 1 but we know this story) 5. Mike Tomlin (year 2) 6. Gruden (year 1) 7. Sean Payton (year 3) 8. Doug Pederson (year 2) So its not really a short list.... its actually more often than you think in the 20year sample size provided above... If you remove Tom Brady from the equation the bottom list gets pretty short. The wildest part about the above..... there is no difference really in the early winning coach count vs the late winning coach count. Majority of that list are still in the league as HC.... -
It's possible he is fielding offers or part of the watson watch.

Fox was a good depth player who had a mid level ceiling, but im ready to see Nixon in a starter role. If we brought back fox in a backup role, Id be open to it. This is part of the business, it happens yearly. No love lost though for Fox.

they were saying that these FA acquisitions had Dan Morgan's thumbprint on them
