Fun watch for the draft a QB hopefuls.
-
I want to put this on my wall.

Thanks for the additional info, as of this moment its 4 acres, but the city agreeed to rezone it... the city would LOVE for Tepper to acquire the land and move the stadium further out from center. It would allow them to expand the skyline and use all of the existing space for commercial. The goal for the city by 2030 is to fill in the inner beltline as the new uptown. Tepper and the Panthers would be a piece to the puzzle.

thats not what i am speaking to. Its the old pipe and foundry land. It's rumored to be where the new stadium will go. here is the link https://www.wsoctv.com/news/local/david-tepper-buys-prime-land-near-bank-america-stadium/7WSWQBDXDBD2FHVZPGN2MY7D4I/

Would be a great add.
-
Packers, Jets and Colts would land him before we would.
-
It will most likely go across the street from the stadium.
-
good write up. Sounds like the Panthers did do their homework with this out they have in the deal. The pressure isnt on the panthers anymore, its on RH. They can easily build the facility on the other side of Moorehead, where they acquired the property late last year.

People said the same thing about the Bills, Bengals, Raiders, Rams, Jags and the Dolphins when they were in QB purgatory. It's just the flow of the NFL media. We have the hottest seat in the NFL for HC's so we are going to be in the spotlight for worst team. It's the normal year after year story. We will be mixed back into the deck next year, and not in any media spotlight outside of "top pick" or "new HC"

Panthers terminating Rock Hill project agreements
TheCasillas replied to Dorian Gray's topic in Carolina Panthers
what a tough situation to judge... one hand you have a bullhorned billionaire, and the other shitty polticians. First one to leak the contract might be the winner of public opinion.... Any Rock Hill citizens on here with a close opinion to this? After all your voice does matter in this situation. -

I thought I read that SC has yet to pay a dime for the construction. How did Tepper steal their money? tone: honest curiosity -
We need to fire Scott fitterer TODAY! He should have known that a player would get emotional and do something dumb when his girlfriend would dump him. This is inexcusable. The front office should be in control of the players personal lives and control their minds. Absolute laziness of our front office. i guess they forgot to do the severance procedure on Damien.

It would most likely be in the range of the Russel Wilson trade. The Saints dont have the ammo if they are using their 1sts this year. Arizona doesnt want that.

Why sign a QB that doesn't want to be here?
TheCasillas replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
@Jmac I asked you about this last week in another thread. Where did you hear he didnt want to play for us? -
What firepower do they have? 2 mid to late first round picks in this year's draft? You think thats gonna land Murray? They dont havea first next year, and they dont have a 2nd in 2024. For Murray is going to cost 2 first round picks at the least. One needs to be a top 10.

Comments from other GMs about the Panthers draft options
TheCasillas replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
whats hilairous... of ALL of those QBs the source knocked.. only 5 of them havent been to the playoffs, haha. 15 total players, and 10 of them have been to the playoffs. 5 of those 10 had won a playoff game. The theme is that there is no patttern to success in the NFL. However, these pundits speak like there is a single path to success when selecting a QB. Its the same recycled story every year. If you look at the last decade of super bowls, no winning QB has had the same path of entry to the NFL. It's all a crapshoot. -

lol.. this number goes the other direction if they include just first round. Since they chose "top 6" that leaves out: Patrick Mahomes Josh Allen Lamar Jackson Mac Jones Also, the "maybe" on Tua and Kyler is such an interesting comment. -
Yah I agree that it wasn’t that bad, but the media has it now and turning it into a huge deal. Now wherever he goes, they will get a media side show with him.

Yes we can. It’s unnecessary distraction and unwanted publicity. If you can avoid it, you will avoid it. at the end of the day this is a business and you don’t want to lose customers.

Not sure what that has to do with the Cam situation. It’s bad timing for him to go on video and speak about women the way he did. if Can was MVP caliber talent, then the contract would probably be on the table. However, it’s bad press for a sub par valued player.

With Cam’s latest debacle, I don’t think that offer is sitting there anymore

A qb needy team today will be far different one year from today. Can’t plan around other team’s assumptions. It’s not like having baker here for one year hurts us. We would have zero long term comittment.

as long as this nets us a franchise LT, im good on the idea. Next year we can trade the house for a top QBV prospect if this doesnt work out. We would be a QB away from being seriously competitive.

ELLIS L. WILLIAMS Of the OBSERVER on Jimmy G

there is no "great path" .... every single super bowl winning team of the last decade has a different QB acquisition story... none the same... -

the outcome wouldnt necesarrily be the issue here, but rather this forum understanding that acquiring a potential stud qb doesnt revolve around losing every year to get a shot. Championship caliber teams have traded up to get their QB year after year.
