how about any NFL team message board since the dawn of message boards?
-
where did you hear this? Thats interesting...

and you know the response would be: "We will take a look at that when the time comes, right now we are just focused on 2022"

I dont think this team trades for Baker as a long term solution. They wouldnt have invested in MC if that was the case. They are most likely attempting to get a better bridge than Darnold. As much as we all know Baker aint it, he is closer on the spectrum than SD is. It would take a trip to NFC championship game for Baker to be considered for an extension.

Can someone remind me how many OC's Baker has had to go through in Cleveland?
-
well this video shows me he would have done great behind our line last year. He can take a hit.

Im truly concerned for Xavier Woods and his family... this is a long time away from the team for a new player. Espeically when it was just supposed to be the birth of his child.
-
BUST! knew it.
-
looking like he put weight back on from when i last saw him in person at the mall about a year or so back.
-
Good to see Derek Anderson back on the team.

YGM is not a stand up rusher... he is a big boy natural DE type. We need to keep him there. I expect him to have a solid year. I dont know why this thread is knocking bringing in a vet to help a young team. What a weird way of thinking.
-
what does that have to do with YGM's growth though? He didnt take snaps from YGM... It would make sense if you meant Morgan Fox instead of Reddick. Since YGM was behind Fox on the depth chart for RDE... but even that isnt really worth the scrutiny you are attempting to give this situation.

Reddick is a LB .... YGM is a DE... they played two different roles on this defense.
-
no he didnt.

Don’t be surprised if this former panther becomes available

All this does is align with what I just said. I don’t know if there is a counter point here or you are just agreeing with me. as for RA he proved in 2020 that he is a Z in this league. DJ is our X. Always has been. -

Those are examples of elite receivers being able to play X, Y, F, and Z. Some players in the NFL just simply can not play X. They can’t manage the boundary, they need space, and vice versa. Curtis struggled nightly on the boundary, that’s why he succeeded his final year here, we moved him inside and out of the backfield. This creates mismatches and open zones. On this depth chart, Samuel would not be on the outside, he’d strictly be a gadget type player. -

I still have tremendous hopes for TMJ. I think his first year was a poo situation under Brady -
In all honesty, we should be worried about his mental health. This sport has proven year after year that is really fugs with your mental health.

I’d consider him as a gadget player. However, WR depth chart is so heavy at the moment. Not sure he would separate himself. -

The commanders have an out in the contract with Curtis Samuel, this out would allow them to have more savings than dead cap- but they still have dead cap. If he doesn’t make it through OTAs , don’t be surprised if he is cut or traded. The question for the huddle is…. If Samuel is cut…. Would you want Fitt to go get him? Washington WR Jahan Dotson has been Carson Wentz’s top target at minicamp. Terry McLaurin’s OTA absence has allowed Dotson to build up reps with Wentz. Washington expects McLaurin back for next week's mandatory camp, but the early returns have been good on Dotson, who looks to already be ahead of veteran Curtis Samuel. Dotson projects to start opposite McLaurin as a rookie and his long-term outlook is pointing up with McLaurin yet to be extended in a contract year.
