  1. Hiring is tough… very tough. As someone who hires about 30 direct reports per year… what you think you are getting vs what you actually get… there is a huge delta.
  2. I think it might be the opposite. I think Tepper is pushing people out that are not good for what he is attempting to build. what we know….. 1. Fired an extremely toxic coach for player morale 2. One c-suite member left to go work for a corrupt organization 3. the guy who blundered the fort mill operation and pushed for turf field is gone obviously I have no idea what the fug is going on, but one could possibly see that it’s not him, it could be them. Tepper brought a lot of people from top of org charts at other organizations, and it’s possible they all had philosophical differences.
  3. QB school actually did a video on Baker about this. He was one of the best in the league on the rolllout and was able to torch the defenses when he had to only work with half of the field.
  4. Based on his track record here, it might be a good thing he has left.... but i only care about football so
  5. "I'd choose Darnold, he has been there longer and knows the offense" ... this is when I stopped listening.
  6. Jeff king and Gary Barnidge both while panthers combined for less than 400 yards receiving combined each year together and in 2008 they had less than 200 yards receiving combined.
  7. I’m pretty sure the NFL controls this and not the panthers. The only team that controls merchandise distribution is the Cowboys
  8. My assumption is that he he didnt want to be a positional coach, but then realized he didnt have a choice. However, thats purely speculation. We will see what he is capable of this year. Ill remain glass half full, I mean anything is an upgrade from what we saw last year.
  9. out of curiosity, who was the last QB that was OROY? nvm. Immediately went to Google.
  10. Also, coordinators get hired based on existing relationships. there is not as many opportunities as some may believe.
  11. He really has been dealt a poo hand with coaches
  12. The Athletic article stated the delay on acquiring Baker was Tepper. He didnt want to fork up the coin or compensation.
  13. https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-approves-alternate-helmets-beginning-in-2022 and so it begins...
  14. Im aware, I called that out earlier in the thread. Im sure PJ will accept some cash for the number based on his current career trajectory.
  15. I do hope he scores 11 instead of 6. The tiny superstitious part of me thinks he should get rid of the 6 and go back to his roots.
  16. It's not a matter of coming back. It's the same as if we allowed players to wear 58, 59 or 89. Tepper said during the last hall of honors ceremony, there are jersey numbers that will never been worn again. 1 is probably one of them when Cam hangs it up.
  17. It would definitely cause a fan base uproar. Also, doing that in this slow time of the year, it would be the only thing that the media could drum up to get clicks.
  18. we are in that period where team is away from faciltiies for their "vacations" before camp. Im sure it will occur here in the coming two weeks.
  19. its not available. That would be a PR nightmare if they did that.
