that would work here if Horn was put on NFI/PUP but he was put on Active PUP. So that really doesnt play a role in this situation. The coaching staff is just playing it safe, and dont want to run him into the ground in July.

People really do take coach speak too literally.... It's almost like they want to us to create a media circus and show the league our hand and eliminate any competitive advantage.

Trask isnt going to make it in the NFL. The problem with Trask is that he doesnt have the tools. He can't make the sideline throws and doesnt have enough velocity on his throws to carry down the field. He is 3rd on the Bucs depth chart behind Gabbert for a reason. Trask would not have been a first round pick this year. His throwing session last year was okay and the only reason he was taken in the 2nd by the Bucs is bc they needed a post Brady plan. You put him against this year's QBs he would have been a 3rd round QB. He just doesnt have the arm talent that Willis, Corral, and crew have. He is a poor man's Pickett, and that isnt saying much. Let's not forget that Trask had elite playmakers around him while he was at Florida. That really helped pump his number.

Rhule just said it was precautionary, they stopped him from going out there to practice. Doesnt see it to be a long term concern.

It's possible he didnt pass his conditioning test to a point that the team preferred. This could be precautionary as well. I am hoping "sore" is just a blanket reason and not specific. Im sure the post pressers will give us more insight.

Vet days arent due to being physcially unable to perform. Im not sure of any other days that players get off. It's just like the injury report when it comes to PUP, you have to report it. Many players around the league on the PUP list right now, its a normal year round thing. Nothing really to invest into until they are on it for multiple weeks.

It's league mandated if a player is not particpating in camp....

lol. A player can be on PUP 8a on a Tuesday and off of it at 8a on Wednesday. This is a non story. Ill be worried if its September and he is on it, but at that point he'd be on IR.

That was my thought as well this is that time of year when the retirements start popping up

he has to be healthy to even be 50% of himself. He is less consistent than CMC
