  1. The answer is going to be game plan or not deep in the playbook. It’s an easy out. although, I’d really want to know why we are running formations and plays like we are. We had 4 plays we ran twice against the Giants. Joe Brady did this same thing…. I’d blame rhule but he isn’t calling the plays, so what is the cause for this? Is it common and it’s only getting caught bc of modern tech today? Is it amplified if your team is playing bad football?
  2. Yeah it is. I called out in another that I think we are not leveraging our full playbook. Feels very joe Brady-esque. Time in a system does play a role in this, and there were recycled plays against the giants. Which I think is what Dan O. Is calling out.
  3. “Inacceptable”. Says the writer……
  4. I actually watched the Robby Anderson interview on YouTube. I didn’t take it as bad as this thread is portraying. He actually complimented the fan base more than he called them out, but the tweet preferred the latter.
  5. He is right. Baker was too quick with his footwork and led to missed timing with the receivers. From A22, it appeared that baker was moving faster than his WR. At first I thought it was bad play design, but if baker slows the cadence of his footwork by a whole step, he will hit his receivers in stride.
  6. It’s pretty scary stuff. There is absolutely no accountability on social media. One of my biggest hates of our current society is social media.
  7. There is a NFL teams vs Fans narrative that is beginning to blossom. I don’t know how I feel about it. I get that as fans we have the right to be angry when our teams aren’t winnning but these guys have a very shitty job. we get to sit on our asses and watch them play this sport, while they risk their lives, literally, on the field every Sunday. This sport is dangerous and once they are done playing, they don’t really have much. Their medical bills are constant and insane. in a way, we are entitled as fans. I personally don’t like it. Ofc those who know me on here, I don’t really go after players. I definitely go after coaches and agents though.
  8. Im actually watching this and getting a second view... Hartsfield struggled mightily with his zone discipline. Might be time for him to ride the pine.
  9. So it was interesting, Rhule pointed out that Baker needed to get to his check downs and not always look for the big throw (in a more growth feedback way, not finger pointing). Person then brought it up during Baker's presser and Baker responded quickly that he did need to find his check downs, but it was his nature to look for the big throw. Acknowledged it has been a short coming for him the last 2 weeks. He said it's something he will need to work on against the Saints. The most interesting part is Baker calling out our game has been great and we need to continue that, but the tone he had felt like he was trying to convince someone, and that potentially could have McAdoo. Totally reading between the lines here, and there is much more to validate my assumption, but the way Baker answered the question... he seemed to be sharing a message for someone not in that room.
  10. Crazy hearing rhule and baker talk about checking it down today at the pressers. Feels like what we are seeing in tape has some validity.
  11. yeah i meant by the way he plays. He doesnt get low enough to engage, and tends to get stood back up. He isnt quick enough to get past the initial engagement, tends to get stuck there.
  12. I think it was for the Miles Garrett play last week. He shortened his block and didnt fully commit, and he vaulted MG right past Ickey that led to a sack. it was a drive killer.
  13. too tin foil for me, but I can understand that being an issue based on who we get for the next coach.
  14. I didnt count Robbie because he is the only true Z WR on our team. So he is a lock for that role until no longer on the roster or injured. Tremble usage was puzzling, he played only 10 offensive snaps. Granted he was open on one of them but Baker never got to that read. I am hoping its more a game plan than Tremble being in the dog house.
  15. if that is true, then I am extremely excited about Brown's potential.
  16. Calling out Brown after this past Sunday seems out of place. He was defintely one of the best players on the field from the all-22.
  17. With Shi its a few things... he is young and making mistakes a young player would. There is no lack of ability for him, and he is capable. However, getting the physical part of this game meet the mental is so difficult to coach and curate for a player. I believe the shiftiness that Shi offers puts him in a better spot to run slot and his route running (outside of mental errors) seems to be one of his strongest tools. Personally, I'd like for us to put DJ in the slot, and TMJ/Higgins on the outside. Then mix in Shi. Things will change with Laviska coming into the fold as well. We schemed for Shi this past week, and I think he may have blown his opportunity. As for Corbett. He has the athletisicm for sure. I just think he isnt used to this type of run scheme. His blocking is fine. I think I only counted him being bullied on one play and the rest were bad assignments or out of place. I think the challenge we face on the oline is the lack of leadership and communication. This is somethign @Mr. Scotcalled out early on. The mistakes Corbett/Moton made were defintely communication issues. We were spoiled with Ryan Kalil.
  18. His play on Sunday seemed to be more mental than physical. That being said, he could be limited due to the knee injury. Naturally, I think we would put Bozeman at LG and move BC to RT... then again... erving is on the bench.... soooo
  19. I keep reading on here people disucssing a "fire sale" if/once this coaching staff is fired. I dont think the next coach will see it that way. They will see this as a roster with young talent that hasnt been utilized correctly. Teams are winning in the NFL with less.
  20. This would be nice to see. The thing that gets me is the stagnance of our offense. I find it hard to believe that these coaches dont evolve with the game especially when working with other franchises. However, that could be the case here. The only other thing I think we might be observing is that the whole playbook isnt open due to Baker being here for a few months. I saw two plays from that All-22 that we ran twice, enought to a point I had to check to see if I was watching Joe Brady 2021 footage. I honestly expect that we go full playbook this Sunday against the Saints, for many reasons. If we don't then we are in the land of incompetence at OC
