  1. They run a three safety defense. It’s an interesting model. It’s actually what snow deploys on our defense with hartsfield, woods, and Chinn. The only thing we are fuging up on side is the assignments between the three.
  2. You could easily get a second day pick for Derrick brown. You are seriously just throwing poo against a wall right now.
  3. I have watched 20+ hours of All-22 footage on the team…. “Real bad” is inaccurate. You put a franchise QB out there or maybe.. just maybe… a baker who has had a year in this playbook… we are 2-0. That doesn’t give this coaching staff a hall pass, but uninformed overreactions here are alive today on the huddle.
  4. There is nothing to blow up on this roster, the majority of the players are on their first contract with us. The few that aren't, have expiring contracts over the next tow years and outs next year. why is this even a thought on the huddle right now?
  5. Zero sense. He has no relation or connection to anyone in buffalo. He was drafted under this FO not our previous FO. Bills passed on Chinn to draft an epenesa. he is on rookie deal and a captain on our team.
  6. 100% linebacker and quarterback are key. The roster isn’t really in bad condition. Just need the key pieces to be filled.
  7. I just don’t see any new regimen stripping this team down. There is no point. It would take years to get equivalent talent and risk performing out of the gate. You have a young team with talent at almost every position. the new regimen would trim the fat but keep the meat.
  8. Yep. That’s why we drafted Burns. We were still running hybrid 3-4 prior to that year under Rivera. We just went into the draft with that mindset.
  9. Exactly my original Point in this thread. We have come full circle.
  10. Wasn’t Kyle Allen our starting qb tepper’s first year of active ownership?
  11. But he didn’t get involved with the team decisions until Rhule got here. Even tepper isn’t the source of our losing. He is just the person who owns the losers.
  12. Yea that stat sucks, but I never understand why these columnist cherry pick years. 49ers were the worst team in football 3 years ago, then Super Bowls the next year. Same with the bengals. there just isn’t a consistency to this stuff. At this moment, we can say over the last 5 years the patriots are the most winningest team in the league. However, the product you see on the field on sundays this year and last year doesn’t look like that at all. we suck right now, and we’ve sucked for awhile. Because we don’t have a QB. Simple as that. If Rhule had a good qb, that record of 1-25 in games decided by less than 4 points… is probably more evened out. It’s a QB driven league, and we are just passengers right now.
  13. From the footage I reviewed, ickey definitely has gotten better from week to week. He made a tremendous mental error last week, but the week before he made 2-3. It’s progress. i will this though, when it comes to run blocking, ickey will be elite before the end of the season. It’s amazing watching him run block. It was supremely evident on Sunday against the giants where we were averaging over 6 yards a carry to the left.
  14. That theory has actually stopped over the last few years. Modern NFL has made the RT position just as valuable as the LT. it used to be that teams would line up their best pass rusher on the weak side of the line and the strong side of the line would have a TE supporting the RT. now with modern offenses, you have a balanced line and defenses use exotic pressures and athleticism on the sides of the line. We are no longer in a league where the LT is tremendously more valuable than RT. It’s marginal now.
  15. I expect a heavy dose of kamara and taysum and in all honesty…. If last week’s run defense shows up… I’m not worried about that. I just need this damn offense to get on track. It’s the anchor for this franchise right now…
  16. Not a fan of this tweet. Norris can’t use this as a supporting argument.
  17. It was phenomenal blocking by ickey, BC and Ian. They sealed the left side and created a huge hole for cmc.
  18. We actually had a really strong day running to the left. Even before that run CMC was averaging just under 5 yards per carry.
  19. Here are my bullets from reading between the lines with Rhule’s comments: 1. chuba is done on kick returns 2. we are potentially going to be thin at CB Sunday 3. viska will be active 4. Higgins is going to get run 5. DJ will be game planned for this weekend 6. Sounds like a request has been made to Ben to use players better, scheme for players better and ask those who are good at what they do, to do what they do. 7. Play predictability response: “saw Dan’s thing, I’ve been around long enough I’ve seen coaches say every time they do this they are going to do that. Then they were wrong.” Then rhule says “if the teams know we are running then why were we able to run for 150+ yards?” Then he throws a light jab at Dan O, that he isn’t a coach and his job is a media driven not coaching football. Rhule mainly stood up for Ben. We willl see this Sunday if we do the same. not really that much more was said. He was a in a good mood for this. Def the first time I’ve seen rhule take a shot at someone though. He must know this is a must win.
  20. So funny to see huddle frequenters argue with each other on the YouTube chat during the presser. As if here isn’t enough, haha.
  21. Or newton. His moronic ass willl ask anything that will keep him in seat at ESPN.
