  1. Yeah, number 1 seems the most feasible. I will say that I have yet to see repetitive plays called week to week. That’s encouraging. Even formations have changed week to week. I’ve seen the same play called multiple times in the second game but not across multiple games like we did with joe Brady
  2. They went out and signed matheiu, Jarvis Landry, Marcus maye and Sorensen this off-season and then traded future first rounders to get an OL and a WR this draft. That is not the moves of a rebuilding franchise. They are attempting to compete this year.
  3. I don’t know why or if that is even the case man. I just said that I hope that it is the case. if we want leverage some use cases.. we could say.. 1. New system and using incremental game planning to gradually work through the playbook 2. baker has only been here for 3 months and probably doesn’t know the entire playbook 100.% 3. The plays are there but the team is not executing that’s all I got.
  4. I don’t know man… I’d argue that they are in a shittier coaching situation than us. All are struggling coaches , but Kliff is hiding behind talent. The cardinals struggle mightily without Hopkins on the field. We have played tough defenses the first 3 weeks, and I think cardinals will be the easiest defense we willl get foR the next 4 weeks.
  5. I believe I’ve spent more hours than anyone on this forum Writing about mcadoo and his offense. Lol. you throwing around the 49ers and Shannahan is just so random. you are a hammer looking for a nail, and I’m not in your toolbox
  6. Im not sure about that … TB12 had almost identical numbers against the saints last week as baker did today. We have actually scored more touch downs than the buccaneers thiseason.
  7. The biggest pass plays today came off of the zero blitz’s. There was one play to Olave that went for 25ish yards that was just a cover 2 beater. That was due to the pass rush not getting home. also, am I the only one that feels the tre smith catch was incomplete ??
  8. If you would have told me that we were going to win today with those stats … I would have laughed you out of the room. Pretty crazy. Baker was off today for sure. I just don’t think he is the main issue. I think it’s the collective of Play design, player usage, player chemistry and time in the system.
  9. Why are you coming at me? Haha. Bc I made fun of your typo and why the 49ers???
  10. I appreciate the approach today. The tough part was we were running zero blitzes when we had a two touch down lead in the fourth quarter. I am more of the type who’d prefer to bring 3-5 and play coverage in that’s situation. I know other’s prefer to keep the heat coming. At the end of the day it’s about execution. I would have rather we went into coverage mode, but fug it we won.
  11. Seeing Dorsey have that little hisssey fit…. Makes me not want him. I dont know how players can see you as a leader when you are doing that kind of poo as a coach.
  12. He already had to hire another coach to coach him on how to coach.
  13. Yeah, I noticed it on the replay. Looked like the read 1 was DJ on the inside slant, read 2 RA with the stick, and then Lav with the quick out
  14. Out of curiosity and in effort to keep conversation consistent, how do you feel about Chinn in pass coverage ?
  15. I think comfortability and chemistry will change as the season grows. It’s obvious right now that Baker and the WRs are not in sync quite yet.
  16. I hen you have the bills throw the ball 63 times today and lose to a team that threw it 19 times. There is no defined attempts types for nfl offenses. i am just hoping that McAdoo hasn’t opened his playbook yet
  17. He probably didn’t have many plays that they repped with him. I believe I saw he was in for about 5 plays. Impact on two of them. One of them was specifically drWn up for him, and his TD play he was the check down receiver. it isn’t like madden, where you sub him in and he is on every play. He joined the team a month ago.
  18. My apologies you are correct, David sills did have that catch against him. Through 3 weeks CJ has only been targeted 6 times and 4 total catches. Aside from the long catch today, he only allowed 33 total yards. I just don’t think he should be getting flack right now. However, still plenty more football to come.
  19. you are cherry picking two plays to determine whether CJ is good or not. If you go back and watch footage from all 3 weeks, you'll see players are just not open against him. Most balls caught against us have been against Jackson, our LBers and our safeties. Truth of the matter is that CJ and Horn are bright spots in our defense, and the game tape supports that. I can go back and choose two throws from last year and tell yu that Darnold was the best QB in the league... but does that mean it is true? Also, Taylor was not good in spot duty last week when Jackson was out. He had two blown coverages and was beat on a man route. Taylor has regressed since his rookie year. I am not sure why, but that rookie hype is a distant memory at this point.
