He plays a large role in the cap hit, but most QBs do in this league. The Lions have 32million spent on oline alone on their roster for just 2022 (1 million more than on their QB). That's pretty insane. We are spending 18m on ours.

With it being a 17 game season now, I think its fair for players to rest at least one game per year. CMC aside. If I was a coach, I'd rest my key players on the thursday night games.

He is traditionally an H-Back. I actually like him in that role. I haven't watched him extensively at the TE role. Mainly him coming out of the backfield or stacked on the line. What do you not like about him at FB?
-
CMC sounds like he may actually miss this Sunday. Could be Person positoning his questions the way he does, but he put McAdoo in a position where he had to answer the question with what the team would do without CMC

Sorry for the delay on Previous Game Under Review

let me know what you hear back -
Hey everyone, not sure what is going on with my NFL+ but it appears I am just not getting access to the Panthers All-22. I can see every game but the Panthers All-22. Maybe the Panthers brass shut me down for pointing out our flaws and other team's were using the intel. Kidding. In all seriousness, if there is any All-22 vets out there, do you know whats going on or any other options? I just go to plus.nfl.com sign in and then click the A-22 version of our games... any help would be welcome. Here is what I see: ort

If you are referring to DJ, my assumption would be to see if the saints are playing man or zone. The saints run man coverage over 70% of the time this year. If a secondary member didn’t come into the box with DJ then the play call would most likely be a run inside due to us having numbers for body on a body. did this play result in an inside run or was this that over route?
-
We actually did run about 3 plays that were split back… Gio was the split back with cmc on 2 of them and chuba on the other but I agree on having both of them on the field for a play or two

Not sure how we could take on that contract with our cap situation this year. Unless this is supposed to be post this season

I wasn’t going that direction. I was trying to find the data that supported your argument, and the stats don’t support it. I’ve already had many conversations on here about hoping that Shane Steichen ends up replacing rhule, so that rules out your statement of me being “pro rhule” … I’m just big on using data to support arguments. one thing I will say is that I will always be pro-panthers

Foreman has been given more snaps than Hubbard though… and Brady C is our starting LG this year…
-
Rhule downplayed the injury in the presser. Really made it sound like it was nothing. Sounds like we will know more tomorrow

Who are the favorites?

Do you have examples of who?

Offensive line getting stronger Carolina's offensive line has had all five starters play every snap through Week 3. Guard Austin Corbett ranks fifth among qualified guards with a pass blocking grade of 80.3, while center Pat Elflein ranks sixth among qualified centers with a pass blocking grade of 74.4 (via PFF).

Baker has protected the ball. That’s an automatic start over darnold. also, he led four scoring drives last week. Darnold did that total in his last 4 games.

Has the Laviska Shenault Jr trade already paid for itself?
TheCasillas replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
300 total yards 2 tds should do it. -
He is everything but worth it. Hard pass. Nothing good about Toney.

and more expensive.

Give me some hope. Can this offense be turned around?
TheCasillas replied to Khaki Lackey's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yes. The offense can turn it around. It's not like there are monumental misses.... its seriously just execution. It starts upfront and then QB trusting the oline. You get those two down... the offense can be middle of the league in performance. To take the next steps, its going to be scheme. -
The Previous Game is Under Review- Any Specific Requests?
TheCasillas replied to TheCasillas's topic in Carolina Panthers
this is not true. Ricci didnt drop a ball. There was only 1 statitisically recorded drop from yesterday's game. That was the Ian Thomas drop on the crossing route. The ball to Robby Anderson was a bad throw because Robby had to come back for the ball as it fell short. You can call it a drop, but analytics and statistics will call it an errant pass. The panthers only have 3 dropped balls on the season. 2 are on Ian. -

Are we not gonna add how shitty our defense was in those wins? Weren’t we bottom of the league in half of those wins as a defense? also, did rhule beat the coach or the qb? Does the defense not get any credit?
