  1. I honestly dont care if he coaches for us or not. If Luke wants to get into coaching and become a coach in the NFL he should pursue this opportunity. I just dont see the opportunity as shitty as you might perceive it to be. It's a no pressure situation.... pre-firing of RHule... it would have been a poo job. However, now... its the perfect entry point because nothing is going to be held against you and you get a free shot to attempt to solve for a huge challenge.
  2. ive come to terms that people dont read existing threads here, they just create them.
  3. He would surrounded by his trusted colleagues, and people he has worked for/with. At a franchise that would not hold his feet to the fire, and would welcome without issue. He would get experience coaching young linebacking room and be apart of game planning with Wilks. It's not like he is being thrown into a room by himself and told to win or lose his job. This is a challenge that would be worth going after and being surrounded by a support network that will empower his growth. Plus, this isnt his first rodeo being in a coaching circle. poo, he was doing it when he was injured, and he did it as an assistant two years ago. This is far from the "worst case scenario" for him. Worst case scenario would be him holding Phil Snow's jockstrap and clip board without having any say... or any other DC in the league for that matter. In this situation he gets to coach for someone that coached him.
  4. I have a feeling in your field this doesnt apply, but in mine it does, along with many others as well. You dont get hired for easy going jobs when you have a certain skill set or talent. That's not why companies hire SLT members. It's normally to come in a fix/improve things.
  5. or how someone builds a career in real life.....
  6. I listened to the whole thing again, he only says it twice. I read your message and wanted to see if he used COVID as an excuse for the delay in his firing of Rhule. He talks about "4 years of ownership, 2 of those being COVID" and then then other comment was the concerts and MLS team planning being done during COVID. I am surprised he didnt lean into it a bit more, but I guess he knows its not an excuse.
  7. Experience is experience, no matter the situation. Hell you could argue this would be the best opportunity to get experience bc you are in midst of an obstacle that you could learn to overcome. Chasing roses and sunshines will never prepare you for ambiguity or tough challenges...
  8. Im just curious why you say he mentioned it 20x , when he only mentioned it twice: 1. When he talks about taking ownership of the Panthers during COVID 2. Starting up the MLS team during COVID. Whats the goal here on embelishing the truth? I am just attempting to understand your mindset here. I hope you don't take offense to this... Im just having trouble understanding why you chose this specific piece to emphasize...
  9. CMC said recently in his interview that she stays at her place in LA and only in Charlotte during the season. So I'd assume they would take the same approach.
  10. Red hot Chili Peppers was awesome.... and that beerfest was a poo show but that was due to Untappd and their unpreparedness for that poo.
  11. this is the only team id like to see him go to if he does... I just dont know if he or his gf want to be in upstate NY.
  12. one big concern or maybe not? Sounds like Tepper spends time on media/twitter, or has someone read it back to him.
  13. Horn has more penalties than CJ. CJ had two PIs that were really tough to swallow though.
  14. The other piece .... I was curious about why Tepper got aggressive wtih Fowler.. and I googled "Scott Fowler David Tepper" and Fowler has written some pretty negative poo on Tepper. lol. So Tepper must just despise the guy. Reminds me of that time that Rivera blew up on David Newton for trying to spark a "concussion gate" here
  15. We would have to get one of their young backs in return
  16. Watching again, the tipping point for Tepper was when they brought up the practice facility.. that seemed to trigger Tepper.
  17. I didnt get the trading of players either... but i could have been typing while he said someting about it. Do you recall?
  18. they kept asking the same question which was basically when did you decide you were going to fire Rhule... like 4 questions in a row. Think about going to the DMV and them asking you the same question just twice... and how annoying that is. In this case, its the medias job to get him riled up and to make a mistake. It's ridiculous that the NFL has a policy where players, coaches, staff have to deal with their poo. Like was Erik Armstead dealt with in SF in the offseason. That poo needs to be controlled.
  19. He should of held it together a little more at the end there. I will say it has to be annoying getting asked the same question over and over but in different ways.
  20. asked what he has learned and he brought up that it wouldnt be a bad idea to bring in consultants.
  21. oh fug off (pft). lol. Everyone hates the media... but yeah lets go ahead and paint it like the media is the victim.
  22. I thought Tepper said the players lost intensity on Sunday ... and that was the sign that they needed to move on. Hmmmm....
