  1. Sounds like we have moved on from "DBO" to "Win the day" and the team is bought in.
  2. he is the 5th most penalized CB in the league, even more than CJ henderson. He is also owed 20 million dollars ove rthe next 2 years.... are you sure?
  3. ah okay - well i will keep an open mind this weekend... that is a fun offense though, ha
  4. Just watched the highlights of Ward in this game. I am not going to lie, I am not jumping on the Cam Ward hype train. The kid is out of control and the OC for the Washington st has built an offense around him that takes the thinking out of the position. That being said, he is looks like he is a lot of fun to watch.... i just cant see that translating to the pros. note: the stats are misleading, 2 of his TDs were from hands that were in front of him. Majority of the play designs were screen plays. Actually, a very fun offense to watch I am going to keep my eye on that Ferrel kid... he might be a late round find
  5. yeah the force he has behind that ball without leveraging his lower body while still having a release than clocks less that a third of a second.... its pretty insane. That is an example of your prototypical elite arm talent.
  6. @ForJimmythis another reason i like Levis... His release is just ELITE
  7. I dont think it's Stroud. Justin Fields was the expected number 1 all year long until he had that game against Winsconsin, that was the begining of his stock plummeting. Stroud has had tremendous talent at OSU and very rarely faced adversity. I do like his throwing motion.... much better than what we saw from Fields. Stroud does have the ability to drive the ball to the sidelines as well. His accuracy is borderline great as well. The thing that sticks out to me about Stroud that is concerning is that he has built his college resume with elite talent around him. His recievers last year were Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave, that is insane. This year he has Marvin Harrison Jr and Egbuka. It's wild how much talent is around him at the WR position. If you watch footage on CJ, he isnt making throws that are beating the defense, he is throwing to WRs that are beating the defense. It's so hard to judge QB talent out of OSU, because they are just so far ahead of the rest of their competition talent wise. All 3 of his top recievers are averaging over 15 yards per catch, becasue of how open they are on deep routes. CJ isnt a tactician or field general... he is a talented QB that is able to get the ball to even more talent skill players. Asking what I like right now isnt going to be the same when it comes draft time, but at this current moment I am on the Levis train. However, based on how he performs against Tenneesee and Georgia could completely change my mind on him. Lastly, I havent been paying much attention to Cam Ward, but I will be now after reading comments in this thread.
  8. i feel like what we see on sundays is really simple haha
  9. I have to say the way the media asks questions are so ridiculous. They are constantly trying to catch PJ in a trap.... fuging ridiculous to have to deal with that.
  10. he hesitated and looked at someone while he was answering that question. I think he was bluffing.
  11. Damn Laviska and his hammies... i am so eager to see him healthy.
  12. damn, im gettting concerned we wont see SD this year.
  13. I feel that I do recall DJ getting up gingerly on a play toward the end of the game, but that being said.... one thing i was going to keep an eye out for was how many "star" players would be wearing green with the trade deadline looming.
  14. i wonder how much McAdoo was held back by Rhule.. he did take subtle shots at Rhule in his las presser.
  15. I dont see the Chargers being the team to fill it... they had a chance to keep Steichen but instead let him walk. Apparently he wasnt on good terms there after taking over for Wisenhunt. Lynn was his only advocate. Yikes man, blessings to you both on your journey there.
  16. im just adding the possible reason why.... not defending it. I have no idea how to run a NFL locker room. So I am not going to try to act like I do.
  17. it could be a stress reliever... we used to do that on my high school basketball team. Coach felt it was a good way to get our minds off of the loss, and clear our thoughts. Then come back together and think it through. Funny enough, I also did that at a design studio when we had a rough client call.
  18. yeah i think right now trying to create a pattern to understand who could it be would be as useful as chasing your tail. Just going to lead you in circles with no results. If Tepper hires consultants and they land on Steichen, then the connections wont matter. I could see Steichen bringing a lot of the former chargers coaching staff over and Alex Tanney from the Eagles over as his OC.
  19. I dont know how we can be sure about anyone right now....
