In all honesty.. this free agency has the two players we need... I see these two similiar to when we signed Ken Lucas and Mike Wahle.. those two are.... 1. Roqaun Smith 2. Mike Gesicki

You are overreacting without looking at the facts. 1. Extending burns would give us 15million back in our pocket 2. Rerstructuring T-Mo can create another 8-11 million 3. Restructing DJ Moore can create another 8-20 million pending on the restructure Come free agency this team will easily been in the 30s-40s in cap space. We are in a really good situation cap wise for years to come because there are only 2 players on long term contracts that take up a large portion of our cap.

the issue is that they didnt go after where they weakness lies. They cant protect the QB or get to the QB. As vaunted as that defense is... they only have 9 sacks on the season. 6 of those are Bosa (who is injured)m and 4 of those sacks came against us. They are the 3rd lowest scoring offense in the league, and that isnt due to their rushing game. Is because their drives stall out due to pressure getting to the QB. They need a RT soooo bad.... this doesnt take them over the top... this keeps them in the middle for a couple of years now. This isnt me being anti-CMC trade either. Bc you and I had this conversation earlier this week or late last week. The 49ers are in a tough spot right now, and they are putting their all of their eggs in the CMC basket. I wouldnt be surprised if this turns into a Stephon Gilmore type trade for the 9ers as he was to us. 3-0 and then the wheels come off.

Alvin Kamara kept par with CMC and he was drafted in the third round kareem hunt has more catches, carries and TDs than CMC and he was drafted in the third round. you can find rbs in mid rounds who can replace CMCs production.

The 49ers lost to the bears broncos and the falcons…. You can’t knock those other teams and not the niners. their dline is all 2nd and 3rd stringers, their down two defensive backs, 3rd string right tackle, 2nd string left tackle.

I think it’s only shaq at this point. We would have dumped all the big contracts for next year after trading shaq. it would only be T-Mo and Moore. Luckily both can be restructured to give us tremendous cap room for the years to come. Which means we can extend Chinn, burns and brown.

Burns is still playing for that contract extension…. So I doubt he throws in the towel. These players still use the season to sharpen their craft and get paid.

The 49ers don’t travel back home for their east coast road trips. They stay in northern Virginia. They have been doing that for two years now so they don’t have to adjust to the hours or lose a day of practice due to travel. so you can’t give them a traveling excuse. They flat out lost to the falcons. No excuses.
