    Why aren’t the packers (Aaron), giants(Eli), cowboys (aikman) broncos(elway) included? They all won super bowls with their first round QBs…. Once you include them that means almost 25% of the teams in the NFL have won a Super Bowl with a first round qb… that alone debunks this entire theory.

    In all Honesty… I think Ben johnson would go after Levis… but if he couldn’t get him…. I wouldn’t be surprised if we kept darnold on a short term deal bc darnold would succeed in Johnson’s system. He runs the shanny style offensive system. Basically, you use the left and right passing scheme to set up the up and down. All while maintaining the run heavy balance

    I believe the momentum for this has wained over the last two games. If I am not mistaken his worst two games over the season were the last two games. I believe ickey is finally hitting the rookie wall. That being said, it feels good to have a potentially elite LT again

    Then just go get Goff in the off-season and use the first round pick on an elite skill player.

    I’d take AR over Stroud. Stroud is just a taller Teddy Bridgewater. Stroud touts above average to average arm strength and throw to open receivers, not throws receivers open. He does not possess a single “elite” qb trait. the ceiling i could see for stroud is Goff- like and the floor is Zach Wilson. I expect career results similar to Teddy though.

    I think the counter argument here would be that the Rams won a Super Bowl. So no matter how you slice that trade… they accomplished their ultimate goal in a single offseason. They may not have a bright future at this moment, but they won a Super Bowl and there is no telling they could have done it with Goff.

    Last I read Bo Nix was sneaking into the back half of the first round. However, you all know how draft hype works…. I am excited for the bowls but not for any of the QBs in this list that are draft eligible. It’s really going to come down to the core 4: L.Y.R.S. (In that order 🫣)
