  1. Oh I’ve seen a bunch, I’m just leaning into how off the wall that mock was from Kiper.
  2. Kiper just said that our young guy is going to be Tanner McKee at pick 8….
  3. all good - i hope i didnt come off condescending
  4. Imagine what the Pats and Celtics fans are like... its pretty toxic. haha
  5. It is actually pretty insane how much cap space we can create due to our down the line flexibility. You can add ~20 million off of just two players (not named Brian Burns) alone.
  6. The concept of "Great memories remind us of reasons to be happy" would play a role here. I still tear up watching our deep playoff runs in 96, 2003, and 2015. If you add a super bowl to that, then I think it only enhances the impact of those memories. I appreciate those moments.
  7. Didn’t we just get mad at repeat for waiting too long to a fits coach? I don’t think this is a “tepper thing to do.” Stephen Ross is worse than tepper. It’s not even close.
  8. I am little worried about his defense though …
  9. Payton and Harbaugh + Stephen Ross. Let’s not forget TB12 is a FA this off-season…. Ross has stars in his eyes.
  10. Considering this was his third season, I’m not sure how a player can decline during a rookie season…
  11. Elfein and Damien Wilson. not jumping on the Chinn wagon, bc he wasn’t as bad as we think. He made some really good plays this year while being played out of position. YGM should be on the list as well.
  12. He is older than 4 other head coaches in the nfl…. Including McVay
  13. I’d hire him on the spot.
  14. unlesss you are "Coach" Franklin of PSU, where you are more of a GM that has to basically be a coach.
  15. I believe the "sources" stated that Harbaugh is fed up with the NIL and college football is slowly rotting or something along the same meaning of that word.
  16. I actually do. Hurts getting hurt showed some things about Steichen's offense and his decision making. I didnt want to admit it at the midpoint of the season, but i think I have come to terms that the Eagles offense is more Hurts (and talent) than it is Steichen. I always believed Hurts was going to be a good (maybe great) QB in this league, and I was so convinced when we signed TB5 we were also going to draft Hurts. I believe Steichen helped Hurts grow but I dont believe he is the reason that Philly's offense is so special this year. The one thing that has stuck out to me about Johnson is his consistent ability to scheme players open and balance the run/pass game. He has a modern take on the west coast offense with a little bit of "run n gun" mixed in. The MOST impressive thing I've seen from Ben Johnson from week to week.... unique game plans based on their oponent. You dont see the same plays run over and over with the Lions outside of the inside handoff to Jamaal Williams from the 1, haha. I also believe with Ben serving some years under a coach like Campbell.. he has had to have picked up some good coaching habits along the way. I can't say the same for Steichen who really hasnt been under any true "leaders" in his career. I think Vance Joseph is as far as it goes for Steichen's branch.
  17. I’d rather kick the tires on Ben Johnson than go with harbaugh. Under harbaugh there was so much roster turnover in SF, it was so hard for them to have any continuity. Even a year after their Super Bowl appearance they only had 9 players left from that roster active the on game day. I understand players move on, but 44 players in a single season… that’s wild.
  18. what? he didnt say anything like that. He said that no player has ever been prepared for a situation like this. He went on about his injuries and his experiences and stated that he has never seen anything like this and cant imagine what the players are going through.
  19. Oh man... you think its that simple? There is way more to it than that. Im not going to go deep into this one, bc id rather focus on the situation. However, Id highly recommend to you to think through the entirety of the situation with a little bit more understanding of the logisitcs that goes into this stuff. There are hundreds of people invovled in the communication and action that goes into this.
  20. In all honesty, the NFL is probbaly prioritizing the teams and players over the fans right now. They dont need to announce to us that the game is suspended, we are just bystanders. They are most likely working through the process with the teams and league officials.
  21. I honeslty dont know why they havent called the game.. but i doubt its money related. There may be legal matters attached to it that they are working through. I dont know how the NFL operates.... but with the networks saying what they are saying... i doubt the NFL is looking for a way to continue this game on tv tonight. If anything they are holding out so they can say "he is fine" on live tv. Which is doesnt look like they are going to get that opportunity.
