  1. Is it me or does it feel like it’s the Dallas Lambs vs the San Fransisco Mcafferys?
  2. Is he still scheduled to sit with us tomorrow? I want to see what the real demands are and not all of these reports.
  3. Wtf is that even from…. That’s so weird
  4. They are, just not many. A lot of it runs through Zac Taylor
  5. Rumors around McDermott getting fire are going to start to swirl
  6. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Jets interviewed Bills quarterbacks coach Joe Brady for their offensive coordinator vacancy. Per Rapoport, "It's unclear if Brady would take it, given how much he loves Buffalo." Brady joined Buffalo after a failed stint as the Panthers' offensive coordinator. The former LSU offensive coordinator was one of the hottest names on the coaching circuit coming into the league and even after one middling year with the Panthers. Midway through his second season in Carolina, the team fired him as their offense struggled to prop up Sam Darnold. After rehabbing his image for a year in Buffalo, Brady could reclaim an offensive coordinator position with the Jets this offseason.
  7. Howie Roseman deserves the most credit here. The roster he put together is so stacked. It all started when they traded away assets and moved down in the draft to stack draft picks. also, not giving up on hurts.
  8. I won’t argue what rhule would have done with him.. bc you are probably right
  9. I was kicking and screaming for him. Even in our draft thread I called out that hurts was gonna be our pick, and he wasn’t …. Sigh
  10. More than what you could sell for the colts, Texans or cardinals….
  11. Greg Roman is an awful want... he is not good. He was supposed to be fired last year.
  12. God damn there are some good coaches available. What a year to need a new HC.
  13. Most of the narrative that is coming out is that Sean Payton is after us more than we are after him
  14. Thank you for making a thread of this. This should be something that the huddle should at the least acknowledge. once again prayers to the Walkes family.
  15. Hats off to Tepper for this class act. This one I will stand by, firmly.
  16. As someone who serves in a DEI committee.. the actual trainings still have a long way to go. The current program is struggling to achieve set goals that are actionable in a performant sense. A lot of companies are struggling with rolling out these courses and yielding results from them. right now it’s in its early stages, so it’s understandable that the results have not changed standards or created new environments in a corporate atmosphere. What it has created is a ton of protections for individuals who know they don’t have to do their jobs (silent quitters) at expected performance levels. this is probably a tinderbox convo. I am just calling out that DEI has a long way to go before it can be proven to be effective.
  17. So it was reported due to that response that she did “other training” that the NFL won’t be able to fine us as long as she gets certified. The phrasing was used to avoid legal issues/penalty.
  18. She could still could be trained in diversity hiring… that’s not a lie. It’s the fact that they didn’t use one of the NFL’s partnered agencies. That’s where the NFL is fining them.
  19. It’s not an hour. They bring an agency in to coach you and then spend time quizzing you and “certifying” you . Just adding context so people understand that this isn’t some online quiz. It’s a process.
