Draft screwed…. Season screwed…. Coaching screwed…. Future screwed
Cavscout replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah, because no franchise QB has ever been drafted between picks 7-13 -
McKee has a huge upside.
-
We should stay put or trade down. Should still be able to get Levis, McKee, or Bagent.

The letdown is disappointing but it's good for the future

They're no college QBs in this year's draft that are going to come in and save this franchise. -

Darnold is not the answer, but he is not the problem. Against Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, and Tampa our defense was gashed. We need a shut down corner that can stay on the field and a better pass rush. -
Nothing. Draft Cam Ward in rd 3 and develop him for a year behind a vet.
-
Also...Hendon Hooker will be 25 beginning the season, and he's injured

Washington State QB Cam Ward plays today against Fresno State.

I'm all for the Panthers keeping Brady from winning another division title! I'm also rooting for us to knock the Cowgirls out of the playoffs if that's our opponent. Playoff home games are incredible.

The team can't just take the interim tag off, according to the Rooney rule, they still need to interview 2 minority candidates from outside the organization.
-
Baker helping the Rams win likely helped our draft position.

"They're buying in to my smokescreen on Levis"

Current draft pick up to 6th after saints loss
-
Why not wait till he hits free agency and maybe get a comp pick for him

Any word on Cam Ward of Washington State?
-
Texans offense sucks. Who's calling those plays anyhow
-
Fields is a great runner
-
Pulling hard against the 49ers. Their losses improve our draft capital.
-
Good riddance

Can't be too hard on Sam. After all, he will make a great back up to Penix next year.

Who should we be looking at outside the "top 4" QB candidates?
Cavscout replied to rayzor's topic in Carolina Panthers
He has had a couple of torn ACL's but has come back from them nicely. I think Thomas Davis had 3 in his young career and never looked back so it's possible he can stay healthy from here on out. I stayed up late to watch the game last night (this morning) to watch him and Cam Ward play. Penix has great touch on the ball and reminds me a little of Warren Moon. -
