Torrey Smith's decision baffles me. I know he is getting $40M for 5 years ($8M a year for you non-math types) $22M guaranteed but the high income tax rate, agents cut, etc...he would make roughly the same amount after all of that by taking less somewhere else. Then consider the fire sale/dumpster fire that is currently SF it makes less sense.

Hey does anyone know what really happened with Hardy that night? I have heard a bunch of "what might've happened" but nothing in any thread, post, news article, tweet, or Fb post that says anyone knows exactly what happened. And since she isn't testifying and the case has been dismissed and he is in all reality according to the law, innocent, why are people still calling him a woman beater? Prove that poo. (And no, one activist female judge doesn't make him guilty of anything). Hell, he might've done it. But maybe not. I don't know. I definitely don't know enough to label him.

Did the Panthers get a heads up yesterday about the trial being dismissed? Or are the Panthers just as shocked as everyone else? Wondering since all the stories yesterday morning were how we were parting ways with Hardy.

Same here. Leading up to the game I said I'd like to see SEA win but as I sat here and watched it the more and more I found myself cheering for the opposite. Such is hating both teams.
