    Before that they were the Kinston Expos and Kinston Eagles....there has been a minor league team in Kinston since the late 20s. There were some years when a team didn't exist there but pretty much has had team for nearly a century.

    I'm going to be calling out colleges and universities all day. It's Saturday, the roads suck, I'm stuck at home, I've watched reruns of Panthers Huddle on TWC about a 1000 times...I'm bored. Just called out UNC Asheville, UNC Pembroke, UNC Wilmington, and Western Carolina.

    Something else pretty awesome, if you go to trendsmap.com (which plots twitter trends on a map) there is a Panthers fan in Kenya using the #OneCarolina. Pretty neat stuff. We are worldwide baby! Edit: @CarolinaSunday, just saw you posted this as well. Good stuff

    I attended the first ever home game in the cacophony of a stadium years ago when they played Arizona. That place is loud, I mean really loud. Everyone seemed pleasant then, but then again their team was ass and there was nothing to brag about.

    I have to disagree slightly on the J_No assessment. He plays the outside technique arguably better than anyone in the NFL but he got gashed a few times on slant/inside moves. That was the Achilles heel for the entire secondary though. Slants killed us today.
