  1. For Corrals sake, I'd wait a few games to let the new offensive line gel a bit. Let them learn to play together 2-3 weeks then put Corrall in there so he's not scrambling for his life.
  2. It will be interesting to see the schedule and where the bye week lands. If we end up with a bye week around week 7 or 8 and we are just floating around .500 with Darnold, I think you see the switch to Corral then.
  3. I think they would really have to like someone to give up more that 13 and 37. Those picks alone are just above the value for pick 6.
  4. I've gone from wanting an OT, to wanting Willis, to now wanting to trade back no matter what. So much talent in rounds 2-3 in this draft that could make an immediate impact.
  5. Part of me wonders if Tepper is so petty that he would keep Rhule here just to keep failing so he couldn't approach those college jobs
  6. Before everyone jumped on the Willis Wagon, one if the earlier comps I saw was the speed of Hurts with the quickness and power of Steve McNair. I see those McNair comps surfacing again now.
  7. Eh. Plenty of Bills fans had issues with him early on, especially when you tie in how he's destroyed the Sabres.
  8. I have a feeling Pickett and Willis will be gone by the 6th pick. Seems like Lions might take one and someone will jump us for the other. Either take the best LT available or trade back.
  9. Probably offered to pay off those who came forward against Watson in exchange to waiving his trade clause
  10. Isn't that the whole reason you would take him at 6 then?
  11. Sheena Quick has her ear to the ground more than any of the national writers when it comes to the Panthers. She said he didn't want to come her back when rumors first surfaced during the season and implied it was partially due to the fall out with Cam at the time. I'm inclined to believe her considering all the news she's broke recently. Doesn't mean that didn't stop Tepper/Rhule from trying to get him, which is probably why they wanted to talk to him.
  12. For the record I love Penning, but not at 6. I think he's fore sure going to be a mid 1st rounder between 15-25 I bet. He would be someone I'd target in a trade down scenario. He has a bit of Taylor Lewan to him I think.
  13. The assumption is that Darnold would be re-signed. If the oline plays better, I wouldnt be surprised to see Darnold play better. That doesn't mean they have to extend him. If everyone improves as you suggest, there is real value in drafting a QB in 2023 and having that rookie contract. That value supercedes any form of success Darnold may have, at least in Fitterers mind.
  14. The biggest issue I have at this scenario is taking Pickett at 6 with no assets to address the Oline on day two in an extremely deep class. You want to trade back and take a shot at Pickett? Fine. That said I'm taking Willis > Pickett at 6. Give me something to be exciting to watch on Sundays
  15. This is the comp I keep seeing evaluators give him. I think it's more based on the 1 yr wonder thing in college
  16. Didn't Rhule once say he will never fire anyone? I feel like not blocking specific people from interviewing else where just allows the door to swing open enough to where he can replace them without being the bad guy.
  17. Knowing our luck, the NFL will have us play in Germany and keep us in Europe to play the Saints in the UK the week after.
  18. I wonder who he will add to his ownership group to get the rest of the money. No way his net worth of $450M will get the job done alone.
  19. This is my feeling with the class as well, which is why I'd lean towards taking Willis who has the tools and hope he can be developed. Everyone else to me just looks like more mediocre versions of lower tier starting QBs like Jared Goff, Jimmy G and Ryan Tannehill.
  20. Kafka was a guy I wanted to interview here. I don't think his name was ever mentioned...
  21. Who is reporting that? He looked like the best QB on the field between both teams today. He's been the most impressive QB all week.
