While we have some good pieces, we still need better players. Fuchs is a great captain but he can’t hang any more as a fullback. Mora was even getting cooked last night. Miami was subbing on attackers with speed and our subs were unequal to that. We need more speed at the fullback spots and still that CAM role. Also stop bringing on Makoun

Anyone else noticed that Bronico has been getting more involved in the attack under CL? He’s not just been sitting back to play extra defender as much

I’m becoming more of a believer in him as the head man. More than I had with the team under MAR the improvement in the squad is noticeable from week to week. Unless we just flounder as the season finishes up, give him the permanent job

Shinyashiki will finish as our top goal scorer this season and team MVP. Calling it now. He’s been a massive pickup

Gaines missed a 1 on 1 with the keeper which could be considered an easy finisher. He’s still got a lot of work to do too. Right now, to me, he’s just fast but he doesn’t always make the best use of it. Our only consistent attacker is Shinyashiki

Alcivar just looks uninspiring. With Franco out and Ruiz looking to follow, Hegardt should come back up and get some minutes. His corners were far more productive than what we’ve seen from Jordy or Titi.

WFNZ pregame makes it sound like it will be a 3-5-2. They mentioned Lindsay as a CB in the back 3 with Santos out wide

I’ve seen it theorized that players may not actually have it but could’ve been false positive tests b/c of Canada’s strictness to enter the country still and it was too close for follow up tests to happen or could be some of the players aren’t vaxxed. Canada doesn’t allow those in either

Gaines really only seems to have the one move and at this point, teams have figured it out. He’s gonna dance and try and juke the defender before going to the end line for a cross. It’s so predictable at this point. Khalina does so great at stopping shots but turns into a tater when the ball is at his feet and the other team presses him. He really needs to work on quicker and better decisions. I like Bender but he needs more time and training to reign in control of his body. He’s constantly losing balance, inconsistent first touches, but he’ll be a force the longer he plays Back line seemed to have solidified a little. It’ll be interesting to see if the attack gets any better with Swiderski back

I wonder how the top Euro teams would handle CONCACAF? Going to developing countries and playing some truly awful fields and conditions

Random thought I just had. Since Lattanzio is Italian and he admitted his Spanish isn’t great, do we start targeting less Spanish speaking player and focus more on Euros?

Just curious, in place of who? I think we’ll need to do some off-loading in the transfer since we’ve seemed to collect a surplus in some spots.
