  1. Can’t forget Tugjob Tepper pursuing Watson either
  2. Yeah the time to talk about this was before the city council primary. I don’t think any of them are against public funding for a new stadium. They’ll say it’ll net more revenue to give him money.
  3. Hopefully they blow up the team properly and start hoarding picks. I don’t know why Tepper gave Rhule a 7 year contract but they didn’t really tear down the team.
  4. He could say anything else lol
  5. Considering how hard they tried to trade for Watson I would think so. I don’t think he views the franchise as anything but a foundation for a sports/entertainment business. He knows even a losing franchise is still valuable and can be moved if needed. Bungling the Rock Hill facility made 0 sense if he ultimately cared about the the team.
  6. The sooner they win the better. Just knowing that Young can get an NFL win is huge.
  7. I wonder if that’s why he had the confidence to fit the ball in tighter windows. He seemed to look noticeably zippier.
  8. Young is miles ahead of Clausen. There’s lots to like about his play so far. He’s missed a few open guys on deep throws but usually they are barely open.
  9. It almost feels like Sanders has a tell because his plays just barely go anywhere.
  10. Letting Hill gash you on that down was pretty bad, unacceptable
  11. I definitely agree with this sentiment but the team doesn’t feel torn down to be a rebuild. This is renovation on top of a previous bad remodel. I feel like the roster will need much longer than the usual 2-3 years you give a coach to start feeling a SB window open.
  12. Or it nags and they shut him down. i don’t want to be cynical it’s just a lot easier to not get my hopes up lol
  13. I didn’t think it was that bad other than the route running and execution. feels like the pass protection and run game was decent. Sanders was underwhelming though. Not concerned about the INTs
  14. Kind of reminds me when we overpaid for Charles Johnson. Seemed like it was better to have him than not even at a premium.
  15. I think the problem is that he definitely will which is why I was ok with trading him. I feel like big money should go to 3 down players or at least they need to load up on the D Line to keep him effective.
  16. I think all sides try to be politically correct but when it comes down to brass tacks Burns is on the precise of generational wealth and needs to look out for himself. I can see why the team didn’t trade him to attract a new head coach, but I feel like willingly gave up leverage so I’m surprised they aren’t paying Burns. Even though the Patriots don’t draft well I really like their policy of trading the guys they can’t pay before their 1st contract. Keeps everyone happy.
  17. I’m not trying to sound snarky but I feel like this is always code for having crappy receivers. I don’t mean it as a criticism of the FO as you can only do so much in an offseason. But it does feel like Theilen will be Young’s favorite target so far.
  18. Hardy was a highly touted prospect who dropped due off the field stuff in the draft. He also showed a lot of progress his first two years. YGM hasn’t been effective, I’m not sure why anyone would consider him primed to breakout? Especially just based on stats. That’s asinine.
  19. Regardless of how Corral turns out I’m glad the staff gave him a chance to put a lot of film out there. I feel like it will help with UDFA recruiting next year(I hope).
  20. I feel like the stadium culture is just not all that cohesive. People are so quiet and bored. I hate whoever that fan hype man is. Just feels like a random radio jockey vs more organic fan of the team. The PA in the lower level is way too loud. i wish the stadium had better public transit access.
  21. I can’t tell if you are knocking or praising that era of Lexus but those LS sedans have a cult following for reliability and quality.
