    Burns never had the size to be a cornerstone player. The next contract and role he gets should fit a lot better. Teams have been expecting too much.

    Yeah I don’t understand the lack of perspective. I think this team is worse than the 01 or 10 teams in terms of talent and it’s going to take a while to catch up from all the bad decisions.

    My expectations aren’t really that high. You hope to see an upward trend and significant success from Canales in year 3-4. The Bryce trade was a disaster. It’s going to take some time.

    None of them have ever looked as bad as Young. It’s very unlikely he’s going to turn it around.

    He’s one of the worst quarterbacks I’ve ever seen play. He’s not going to turn it around. If he wasn’t a number 1 pick he never would have been in contention for the job this year at all. Canales had to trot him out for 2 games to establish how poo he is at the job so he could bench him. He’ll never play in the league again.

    Yeah hopefully the fans show up in good faith for this game. Even if the Bengals spank that ass it’s nice to feel hope again. We can at least look forward to having a QB that can toss a few to the rookies in garbage time.

    Just glad to see them get a win. Feels like when Wilks first won one. My expectations are still low but I’m just happy for them. Those guys deserve to know it was Young and not them.

    I don’t see anyone trading for Bryce. Who knows how many teams had him totally off their draft board due to his size. Now the NFL knows his brain/heart aren’t in it either. If he hadn’t been the #1 pick he would have been benched last year. I can see him being a healthy scratch soon, I mean you can’t put him back in if Dalton goes down.

    Yeah he had plenty of pro bowls and all-pros. maybe not HoF caliber especially since Nick Mangold has a similar resume. Not sure if he would get in either.
