Regardless of numbers the Texans were fired up and bringing it last night. We went for it on 4th down against conventional wisdom which really pissed them off I’m sure.

Black Punters/Kickers, black QBs, white DBs etc. If someone is South Asian or Latino it usually comes up too. Always highlighted, never avoided.

I think teams have authority to award sacks so maybe they can add it regardless of the call.

It certainly feels that way, I’m surprised nobody has schemed like Snow has. It’ll be interesting seeing which team figures out how to counter. He’s running Madden micro blitzes like I did when I was 15 lol.

Trading for Jared Allen was a good move in 2015. I think it’s a great idea. Horn was contributing and windows are small. A 1 year deal isn’t panicking.

I wouldn’t mind seeing a review of the offsides, I was half asleep during most of the game. Seemed implausible. our free rushers on D is unlike anything I’ve seen before and I wonder if they came into the game trying to slow them down. Maybe they noticed an uncalled offsides in a previous game.

Is the Texans rushing defense bad?

I felt that way before week 1 but the defense has proven itself. We’ll need a lot of turnovers to lose. I feel like Darnold seems to stare down receivers when he’s on the move so I worry about that being a pick 6 or a tip 6

I thought the pass protection would be worse. I was expecting a top 10 defense honestly but not a dominanting SB caliber defense. I’ll basically be looking over my shoulder the entire season. Just not used to the team winning and that feeling of being exposed keeps lurking. If we can get past the Texans then dropping one to the Cowboys won’t feel so bad but if we’ll can’t win this Thursday I’ll be back to feeling as uneasy as ever. I didn’t expect Darnold to be so accurate on the move. I thought we would win vs the Jets but Darnold would get sacked a ton, definitely thought we’d get outcoached vs the Saints. I was expecting their defense to be much tougher.

I guess that’s the early season for yah. Nobody wants to say out loud that their predictions were wrong or commit to a new position since it’s too early for that as well.

Dang if I could afford 300 grand bets I wouldn’t be gambling much. Different strokes I guess.
