The team has never really tried to rebuild and it sucks. I think the organization as a whole knows that Tepper doesn’t really care.

I still think we’ve been decent in FA, worse in the Tepper era but so has everything.

I’m definitely not a hater I just can’t think of many cases of a rookie QB looking so ineffective and then turning it around. Bryce not working out puts the team deep in the hole wise. I’d much rather have a franchise QB or even an average one.

Same with Lucas, that was a great class. Wish they could have squeezed Moose into there. If Jenkins and Moose were on the 05 team who knows what could have been

That’s basically all I was saying. I’d only do the trade based on his potential ceiling. Otherwise it just makes sense to keep him.

I’d take two firsts or a 1st and 2nd. Whoever keeps him needs to bet on him hitting his potential.

I just hope the improvement feels stable and fun. I guess that will start with the coach. I feel like recovering from the Bryce trade will take a while.

The key to watching the game is to catch up on some tasks on your work laptop. It’s a lot more fun that way lol

I’m not sure if Canales era will work out but the team looks a little more pumped/hype than last time which I like. Gut feeling feels like Evero could work out as a good HC somewhere else which will be so depressing.

that all-run 2 min drill was awesome, about as much suspense as a preseason game can have lol

I can’t tell if this a genuine compliment or not. Aren’t kickers judged by how well they do on 50 and 55 plus? I feel like the drop off after top 5 or so guys is distinct.

I think he was gone regardless so it basically just starts with passing up on the Burns trade. If you pass up on a trade that big it should mean he’s getting signed the same day. It’s Fitt’s mistake all the way. Getting anything at all speaks to Burns talent as a player and the GM. I’d call it a win. I also do feel like Tepper won’t find success unless by accident. Feels like he values the wrong things. I didn’t like Wilks as a long term coach but I think he would have been an amazing coach for rebuilding the team and getting back to an even footing.

I have zero hate for Bryce he’s just a kid. You can either cut it or you can’t. If the defense keeps looking good and developing players AND we let Evero walk I’m going to kick myself so hard I’ll do a front flip. Def on Tepper.

An NFL team doesn’t need to be a winner to go up in value. It can be a great anchor to start up a larger business in entertainment/data/gambling which I suspect might be Tepper’s overall goal. I look forever to the antebellum style cartoons of Tepper the carpet bagger when he moves the team.

I kept telling myself “I guess he really is THAT smart” and I try not to worry about things I can’t control. It seems insane to trade so much for a QB that has this many hard compromises though.
