  1. Does he? Apparently not by 32 teams over and over again. Media hype ≠ reality it seems. He is going to need serious development regarding blocking.
  2. Would it be an upgrade? I don't know that the scouts think so.
  3. Trading Thielen, huh? I could go for that. I'd trade him for a fourth (which turns into Malik Washington or Javon Baker) in a heartbeat.
  4. Dude, the first thing I see from The 33rd Team is: "Jackson is a tall and long cornerback who has the ball skills to play outside at the next level, but his lack of strength, foot quickness, and effort in run support makes him scheme-specific and not as versatile." Here is the full draft profile if interested: https://www.the33rdteam.com/khyree-jackson-2024-nfl-draft-combine-results-scouting-report-for-oregon-cb/ He has some deficiencies as well. I wouldn't say he's a definitive starter based upon what I'm reading.
  5. Oh, I agree. Where I may differ with some, is that I don't feel the need to rush him. But, we all know that he's going to get an appreciable amount of playing time whether he "starts" or not.
  6. As stated, Tampa has some serious deficiencies. I don't know whoever else you're referring to.
  7. I'm all for adding an extra fourth as long as it doesn't effect next year's draft capital.
  8. Tampa has some serious deficiencies that seem to be mostly footwork related, and he doesn't have the best vertical speed (maybe not enough to handle legit receivers)
  9. That's everyday on the Huddle these days. I won't be complaining about any pick. It's too damned early. Maybe in September. My only complaint right now is the damned server not sending recovery emails, or the damned contact links not working on the bottom of the forum page.
  10. I just don't believe that this is true. It all depends upon the philosophy of the coaching staff, as well as the aptitude of the player. I don't see any reason to rush X or JB.
  11. No doubt. People just don't like the fact that Morgan didn't pick the person that they wanted, but the value is definitely there.
  12. He's an explosive RB that can really catch. That may be all the double dip that we're getting (though I doubt it). Yeah, Jerry shot himself in the foot. I guess that he forgot where he was for a moment. We pounced.
  13. That's totally fair. But like I've been saying: it's a new day.
  14. This is so damned frustrating. No password recovery, and the email and contact link at the bottom of the page is no good. My email says it's undeliverable. WTF?
  15. I think that you're mixing up RAS for upside. We presumably have good good coaches, and we certainly have people closely associated with the franchise and actually closely associated with the GM that know a little something about playing WR and LB. Canales was a WRs coach for goodness sakes. You pick the guys with the upside and coach them up.
  16. Just imagine all of the upheaval that drafting Rattler would cause, not only here, but everywhere. The juice might not be worth the squeeze. Incessant whining...
  17. *its You can't even edit your posts with so little activity.
  18. Icky doesn't stink, he just hasn't played up to his draft status in pass pro. I think that it's floor should be average. If Bryce can't work with that, then he's not going to work.
