Is it to early to revisit the Corral vs Malik Willis debate?
TD alt replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
I mean, if anything, it teaches us that coaching and development can and does take time with most QBs. The not-so-secret truth is that where a prospective QB ends up, especially initially, can have a profound effect upon the trajectory of his career. -
Ochocinco offers an Apology to the Team and to Panthers Fans
TD alt replied to Butterflyj30's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah, my son listens to Shannon & Ochocinco regularly. I told him yesterday, "That the Panthers need an apology from a lot of people," and I specifically mentioned Ochocinco as well. He wasn't the only one talking sh¡t, but he was the only one to man up (at this point to my knowledge). Adam Thielen may not be what he once was, but he still has juice. Legette is going to be a load to handle once he gets the experience, and Diontae is legit (a local talking head called him a "route god."). Johnson knows how to consistently get open. Throw in Mingo and Tremble, and there's enough to move the chains. -
In Soviet Russia, Bryce young at halftime….

Yep, the disrespect. -
Mind you, I'm not a gambler, but I made a little change off X today.

If we wait until the off-season, we're not getting anything but a day three pick. The time to do it is before the trade deadline. Lord forbid that he has to come in and stink up the place again. We're fuged either way.

We need to trade Bryce NOW. His value is going nowhere but down the more games that we play.

So.... How bad is Bryce's confidence now on a scale from 1-10
TD alt replied to PleaseCutStewart's topic in Carolina Panthers
Now now, guys, his confidence is in the Lord... -
I mean, let's not go crazy. Andy did throw some almost-picks out there. Better corners and maybe the game is a little different. I don't think what we've seen excludes is from drafting a QB.

Frank Reich was right / Frank Reich was wrong
TD alt replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Well, I wasn't hot on the trade either. Trading away day one and day two picks always makes me shake my head. To get someone "better than Bryce" doesn't mean we had to acquire Carr, far from it (especially if you consider what Dalton is doing today). I'd just assume have a journeyman like Dalton than overpay for Carr (whether it be in capital, draft capital or a combination of the two). And I said something similar when we were debating about Carr. He was a bad value in my opinion. -
Damn right!

Frank Reich was right / Frank Reich was wrong
TD alt replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
I mean, Carr didn't look too great today. I still don't think Reich was right about that, unless you just want an average QB that can play above average at times, as well as get you an early postseason exit (if you're lucky to get there). -
Carolina Panthers @ Las Vegas Raiders Gameday Thread

Second. He almost threw an INT. -
At this point in time, who feels like we lost this trade?
TD alt replied to WarPanthers89's topic in Carolina Panthers
Crystal balls are overrated. It's only the truth after the fact, and some across the league will still say that it's our truth because the Panthers put the kid in an awful situation. For me, I've seen enough. Like Jay Gruden said, there is nothing that I've seen that's redeeming about his game. Even if he improves, I just don't see how he'll ever be a top 10 guy. -
Bill Barnwell defends Bryce's benching with some horrific stats
TD alt replied to Dorian Gray's topic in Carolina Panthers
It's a breath of fresh air compared to the largely mindless drivel that other talking heads have spewed about "poor Bryce." -
I'm with you. We're gonna shock the world (from one Homer to another)!

If DangeRuss gets cut, y'all already know.

I believe that Canales was committed to following the company line of fixing Bryce until Tepper decided that an immediate change of course was necessary. We'll likely never get to the full truth of the matter. Canales didn't seem like his normal open positive self during that presser. Tepper got to him.
