  1. Who said anything about picks? I say we offer Bryce for Reddick straight up...
  2. He's no Pitts. We need to swap with the Falcons for all they (don't) do with Pitts as well. Of course Canales may not use him either.
  3. We have a low bar. But that's OK this season.
  4. Well, one just has to be realistic. We may get a few wins this year because we are actually competitive, but we aren't legitimate contenders, as we have too many holes. But we can see incremental improvement despite the holes.
  5. I'm not worried about receivers at the moment, but if we can't lock up DJ, I may start worrying. I think that we have some young guys to coach up. I'm more worried about the long term answer at QB. From what I've been watching, QB aside (depending upon how we want to approach the position), I think that our biggest problem is legitimate pass rushers. We need one. Clowney is OK as your secondary option (like Burns was in my opinion), but we need a guy who's going to get after the QB with legitimacy and consistency. Allowing QBs to play playground football in the offensive backfield is not going to lead to success. We need a pass rushers or two above all (especially if we can't get a top QB in our natural draft position).
  6. I mean, some of you are trying to act like Moore had perfect hands. Nah. Moreover, I dont believe Legette is a body catcher. He leaves a few on the field too, but he knows how to go up and get them also.
  7. I said it in the game thread. The defense was sacrificed this year to go strong on offense. We don't have the talent on defense to be a legitimate contender.
  8. Seriously, that was a criticism of DJ from Pittsburgh fans. We're just gonna have to live with it.
  9. We need an EDGE in the worst kinda way too, but, again, fans knew the deal a month ago.
  10. Oh yeah, I made peace with it, and any serious fan should have known what was going on as well. It wasn't exactly a secret. Hell, we jettisoned half the defensive backfield essentially right before the regular season
  11. I mean, we did sacrifice the defense to get offense, so no one should be surprised. You can't actually fix everything in one offseason.
  12. I know, right. It was such a an obvious pull-the-damned-trigger-moment. It was one of the defining moments of Fitterer's career as a GM.
  13. My go-to hat. I either wear this one or my Bulldog black on black cap. Sometimes I wear one in the morning, and one in the afternoon. Like today. I wore the cap and my raincoat this afternoon.
  14. Danny Dimes throwing Chuck E. Cheese tokens out there. Geesh! If he could hit his receivers in stride, he'd be deadly. I don't know how he got the nickname.
  15. Smitty was higher on Mingo, and worked with Mingo during the off-season. It's his time to piss excellence or get off the pot.
  16. Yeah, we know. You post about them what seems like every five posts.
  17. In Athens, Georgia, there was a club called O'Malley's back in the 80s. They used to have Nickel Night for house draft and liquor. You talking about a bunch of drunk college-aged students. The police used to just wait down the road and see what fools were going to catch a DUI.
  18. Yeah, I got that, but how did he play is what I'm trying to determine. I was so high on the offense that I didnt pat attention to the D-line, except to notice that they weren't getting as much pressure as I'd like. I was thinking to myself that it was a good thing that we were playing Minshew who wanted to hold on to the ball too long.
  19. I know Clowney got some pressures and a late sack. Does anyone know what PFF grades that Harris and Clowney got against the Raiders?
  20. That's the dirty secret: drafting a franchise QB is more luck than skill. Tepper wanted to be first instead of second. Now we're the ones with the dud.
