  1. The Red Rifle is irreparably jammed. We're about to continue our Bryce experience. I guess it's just as well. It's what Tepper deserves for not ceding football control to someone like...Jim Harbaugh. , But us fans don't deserve this. Season ticket holders have invested thousands to watch shยกt. And even us rank-and-file fans have invested hundreds supporting this team over the years. Believe me, the following is just what I decided to grab because it was within a remote's throw. I have waaaaaay more junk. The team sucks, but I'm beginning to feel like a sucker. Did I mention the time that most of us have put into this team? And for those saying that we don't need to draft a QB, tell me who the hell is our QB going to be. Oh? The light is going to magically come on for Bryce, right? Who believes that? I just don't know how we can't draft a QB. I don't know how we can keep going into seasons, and even games, looking like we're getting worse. There needs to be a little hope for this fan base to remain viable. There just has to be.
  2. I mean, I can see them scoring points in us with the players that we have out there, but why can't we score any points? What the hell happened? I think that it's bad coaching and play calling.
  3. See that's the kinda poo I don't understand. Why run Sanders on third as opposed to Hubbard? It's like Canales is clueless. The play was between the tackles.
  4. Honestly, I couldn't bring myself to play Daniels today. I played Love.
  5. Not really. As a post June 1 cut, the cap hit is only around 3 mil in 2025 and 1ยฝ mil in 2026. Someone may still take him off our hands, but if not no huge deal.
  6. I mean, Burns is gone and Clowney isn't in the long term plans, particularly as our main pass rusher. He's better than nothing however. We have many holes to fill, and I'm sure that the pass rush is out too priority on defense and could turn into our top priority overall depending upon how things shake out.
  7. Why be like that? This is the way that it's supposed to be. Thielen and Mingo should be outta here. Young should be outta here. D.J., if we're not extending him, should be outta here. Chuba should be first or second on the list (behind Thielen), because we threw our chips in with Brooks. Trading these pieces should make our team better in 2025 due to having more picks. We need to rebuild. Plus, our young receivers need playing time. The future is not in Thielen, Mingo (unless as a second round backup) or Chuba most likely. The future may include Johnson, but we need to pay him ASAP.
  8. Tmac doesn't even have to be the best receiver in this draft when all is said and done.
  9. I mean, honestly, Chuba, Sanders, Thielen, Mingo, and even Johnson need to be trade bait. You should see what you could get (if anything), and act wisely from there. The only one really worth keeping at this point is DJ. The fact that Chuba isn't on the block really bothers the hell out of me. It's some Fitterer shยกt (now Morgan shยกt).
  10. If all three teams were more consistent, I'd fully agree with you. But you never know what you're going to get.
  11. I mean, I can't argue with you. I didn't want Morgan either, but I do see hints of promise, among a measure of skepticism. We'll hope for the best, as it's all that we can do.
  12. I think that it's somewhat questionable whether we will actually get the first pick to be honest. The Pats, Jags, Titans and Raiders are going to give us a run for our money.
  13. Fitterer was responsible for the signing. I don't know who else to blame. Honestly it all comes back to being unappreciative about Chuba. But now it's late in the game, and if I were Chuba, I'm going to the highest bidder once I hit FA. The Panthers don't know how to take their medicine. It's better to get something for Chuba now, be realistic about a pedestrian Sanders (sure, see if we can get a bite, but likely not) and cut him post June 1, provided we can't upgrade him either in the draft or FA.
  14. I'm skeptical of Sanders. I don't believe that he'd be getting as nearly as much hype if he wasn't Prime's son. I'm also skeptical about his decision making, his actual playing weight, and his actual height. He's not a big QB, and is not necessarily as naturally solid as I'd like. Yeah, I could be being affected by Bryce, but Sanders really really likes holding on to the ball too long. This isn't going to work in the big league.
  15. He doesn't have to be the top wr of the board. Just saying. Not saying that he won't be. Burden, Egbuka, and Bond look to be gamers as well.
  16. Save, Russell Wilson is traded here and balls out for the last half dozen games (all of that being highly unrealistic), if Ward is available when we pick, if I'm Morgan I'm running to the podium for Ward.
  17. Honestly, we should deal him to the highest bidder, but we do things that aren't practical. If we want to keep him, we'll likely end up overpaying him. We shouldn't have drafted JB if we were going to hold on to Chuba. It just goes to show that, much like some here, they didn't really didn't appreciate what they had in Chuba. Now, in my opinion, they look kinda crazy for not investing in another position.
  18. Because they get from under Watson. We absorb some of the cap hit. How much? Depends upon how much draft compensation that they're willing to pay. It's just a discussion. No one said it's imminent or even likely.
  19. You actually think, with a straight face, that we don't need a QB? Come on.
  20. The idea is to take on his salary and cut him. He would never play a down for the Panthers. And, yes, there is precedent. The Browns traded for Brock Osweiler for that very reason, and then cut him. The NFL doesn't care, as long as you stay under the cap.
  21. The lesser of two evils. At least they'd have a nice young man to develop. They'd have to suffer two more years of Watson otherwise, while the team disintegrates into nothingness. Watson, by several metrics, is the worst starting QB in the NFL (not hyperbole).
  22. I've listened to the Watson-Carolina idea from two or three people now (probably all originating from ESPN's Evan Cohen). OK, read the article and tell me what you think. https://www.brownsnation.com/analyst-proposes-browns-panthers-trade/ Not that I'm trying to influence your opinion, but I would scoff at a first and conditional first. I am not letting anything hinge upon Bryce Young's play. If they outright make it TWO FIRSTS in 2025 and 2026, I'd think about it, but I'd have to look at the cap implications first. [Any cap-ologists want to give any insight?]
  23. Nobody is that stupid. That was some Fitterer foolery. I doubt we have the number one pick, and we shouldn't trade back unless we think that our guy is going to be there.
  24. Gotta keep swinging on a QB, you just don't pay a king's ransom to take a swing. If you can't fill out the some of the roster with impactful day two picks, then you don't know how to draft. If Cam Ward is there, you don't pass on him. The same can be said for Jalen Milroe. I'd consider Sanders, Ewers and Beck, but it depends.
