  1. This team has a chance to win the division the way it is now...even with the porous defense which I do believe will tighten up as the season progresses. Aside from the Chiefs (and they don't even seem invincible right now), every game we have is winnable. Huge swing from 'how much are we gonna lose by this week' to 'we have a shot to beat any team on our schedule'.
  2. I'll miss the Brian Burns 1 sack a game in the first quarter on a 1st & 10 then disappear for the remaining of the game.
  3. But But But....our coaching staff had 200 years of experience!?!?!
  4. Retain most of the coaching staff but bring back Wilks. Instant upgrade
  5. Sending the best QB this franchise ever had off like he was yesterdays news didn't help.
  6. Of all the things that have gone wrong this season, Young isn't really one of them for me. Everything around him is a dumpster fire though...
  7. Still holding out hope that the Bears bump their head, use one of their 2 firsts (ya know, the one we gave them ) to acquire Burns and give us a top 5 pick again.
  8. This nutrition/healthcare/conditioning staff we have needs to be fired, whole team is made of glass.
  9. But this coaching staff is stacked! 200 years of experience!!!!!!!!
  10. Can't blame him, when he does eventually do it, you want some home fans there to cheer you, and right now this team absolutely deserves no support with the production they are showing on the field.
  11. No, but they were at least entertaining to watch, unlike the last 3 years of garbage we've been served. Always felt we had a chance to win a game with #1 back there...now I just assume we are gonna get stomped, just differently each week.
  12. I've checked out of really caring too much about this season already, but what about possibly trading him to the Bears and getting back our 1st round pick? Its clear we need way more help on Defense (especially CB) and need as high of a draft pick as we can get.
  13. I can't believe the Bears are going to have the #1 & #2 draft pick this year
  14. difference is, they are always in it unlike the Panthers so there is always a shot.
  15. Burns is the guy who has the stats but not the 'spotlight moment' guy. He'll get a sack most games...in the 1st quarter on a 1st & 10...then ghost the rest of the game. Never a 3rd down knocking a team out of field goal range or stopping them on a big conversion. He's a stat padder.
  16. The only way for Tepper to get the idea that no one likes him is for him to hear it when he shows his face on game day...if he ever does, which Im sure is rare with this nice 5 season losing streak we've been having.
  17. only 3 more weeks until NC's only real professional sports team starts their season. Hop on the Hurricane train and ride it to the cup.
  18. Chris Gamble still around? Richard Sherman? Josh Norman? Hell Revis even in his current state, suit him up...can't be much worse
  19. Being in Raleigh and the Canes being very good the past 5 years has definitely swayed my passion. Tickets are cheaper and no 3 hour drive to watch the team most likely lose. I've enjoyed watching the panthers since 2003, but the last 2 years, I've tuned into the games at the start of the season with much less passion. Cam was that guy that even if we were 5-8, I still tuned in to watch and see what he may do, he was that exciting to watch imo. Now, just seems like we are going to be a bottom feeder team for at least the next 2-3 years at least...making it 8 years of not even mediocrity, just poor football play.
  20. It just blows my mind he can get thru training camp then when live action hits, boom. down. Does he not go 100% during camp? He never makes it past the first 2-3 games each season.
  21. On a completely unrelated subject, does anyone else agree that this is the hottest that Sandra has ever looked on the big screen? She was just...yes.
  22. A retirement that really hurt to hear, but when you see and hear how it has affected him and his game...you can't help but be happy he did retire when he did. If he had kept going he might have been the best MLB to ever play the game, but at what cost to his health.
