Does anyone have Tepper’s email, not Appaloosa
Dunn replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
what about that guy with the airplane when he wanted Rivera canned? or was it Hurney? -
The 3rd season will be his famed 'turn it around' season he did the last two jobs he had. This isn't college, not going to miraculously turn it around unless there is a complete overhaul of his coaching staff and he takes some coaching tips from a veteran coach this off-season. Even with the people we have in place on the roster, we have a team that is capable of being good...not great but good. And he can't get that out of them so far.

Happy Panther's tank thread and projected draft pick

We will win the last 2 games of the year and pick 18th somehow. -
Your reaction in Gifs when Cam comes through tunnel

You'd hope he'll get a good ovation from the crowd on Sunday before the game if they announce him, which I'd hope they will out of respect for his dedication to the team and community over the years. Solid man and role model who clearly impacted many lives on and off the field.

If this recent uproar from fans & media doesn't show Tepper how much #1 means to Charlotte, there is no help for that man.
-
When they let Donte walk, he'll fall right into the #2 position, keep Gilmore where he is at and pay him the money they would possibly have paid Donte.

yet Shaq just posted a photo of him and cam on his Instagram...so I think they are ok.

Fan attendance, plain and simple. It worked on me, I wasn't driving from Raleigh to see the poo show that was on the field currently, but with #1 back, I'll be happy to. Even if he is only 75% of what he use to be, he still gives us a chance to win every week. That's what made him so exciting to watch.

Tepper: Stop the Stadium from Being Overran on a Constant Basis
Dunn replied to Seltzer's topic in Carolina Panthers
If only they had a passionate leader on the field always trying to get the crowd into it and pump them up...a showman if you may... -
It has to be Brady, there is one side of the football that is holding up its end very well, to a side that can't score a TD. Rhule is to blame for it too, but Brady is supposed to answer the call and field a competent offense and hasn't done that for 6 weeks now, and it suffered most of last year also. Its time for that change at least.

I know we have had the drops the year...but a Oline and OC revamp would do wonders for whats already currently on the field.

Shaq flipped a switch this off-season. Been an absolute animal this season, hopefully he continues this trend, he'd fill a big need on the defense.

RBA, “Nino Could Be Out For A While”
Dunn replied to MillionDollarCam's topic in Carolina Hurricanes
I'm still somewhat of a newb when it comes to bringing guys up etc...why hasn't Suzuki had a look yet? Drafted in 2019 and put up some really solid points where he's been playing. -
If only the Panthers were as dominate as the Hurricanes.
Dunn replied to LegioX's topic in Carolina Panthers
big part of the Canes success is picking the right coach finally after years of duds. Rod has his players ready to run thru a wall for him, and they play like it every night. Many more years of success to come for this team. -
Here's hoping the 49ers stink it up, they let go of Shanahan and we can pick him up on the rebound with Watson, that'd be a combo I'd love to see.

Rapoport believes Watson will be traded before the deadline
Dunn replied to t96's topic in Carolina Panthers
Morale police on full alert this morning hoping Watson doesn't come here. Its a football team, I want a consistent winning team and putting Watson here is a huge leap towards that. Those that oppose it are the same people who sell their seats to opposing fans. -
Hurricanes are 4-0 to start the season as well. Lets look at the positives

Graham Gano: Panthers doctors misdiagnosed career-threatening injury
Dunn replied to therealmjl's topic in Carolina Panthers
I dunno, I would actually have a good laugh if he beats us with a FG to win it, goes to the camera and tells us to keep his lawn cut. -
This feels just like the Eagles game. Both teams will play poorly and whoever makes the least amount of mistakes will win.

Look at how this defense has changed. If we had jettisoned Whitehead after the first few games I'd say our defense would have been even better last year then it was. While the Defense gave up 571 yards against the Vikings, they didn't get any help from the Offense until the last half of the 4th quarter. I'd say the Defense is extremely competitive, top 10 almost, and they've had just as much of an overhaul as the offense, so why should we give one half of the team a pass, and the other not? We have a competitive football team...wild card capable if our play calling and QB can play smart. The biggest issue is cashing in when it counts, and we fail to do that almost every year. We lose to teams we shouldn't, and then finish the year with 3-4 straight meaningless wins. I'll complain here and then on Sunday my un-happy ass will still be planted watching the team play. I just wish there was a more consistent product on the field. There are flashes of a great team, but that's about it.
