I more or less meant "top 6 players" not were they were playing but yeah the size and physically paid dividends.

Although we dont have as much "firepower" as year past this Canes team has somthing we didn't have in years past which is size in the lower 6 that gives us two legit checking lines.... In years past we only had the Staal line and on the road we would hemorrhage chances because we couldn't match them up like at home.. I firmly believe our poor regular season road woes were due to who we had in goal... 19 road losses with a combination of Kochetkov,Tokarski and Martin in net.. 3 with Anderson (all coming at the end of the year when let's be honest we weren't trying to win)

I'm not sure they can adjust.... the Canes team speed and forecheck just overwhelmed them.... This was on the road were the canes have had trouble establishing the forecheck in past playoffs..... In Raleigh we're we line match.... yeah this series the canes are taking. If we take game 2 I think the brooms come out.

I Biggest old problem was answered though.... Game 1 Road win.....

This will end in four if we do.....

We have home ice advantage now.... Canes dominated..... on the road.

This winning one of these gives us home Ice the rest of the way. Honestly no matter the result tonight I feel pretty good about this series we have played very well tonight... after years past getting crushed in opening games on the road.
