Bad koochie is probably worse than Martin IMO because bad koochie it gets in his head and he makes insanely risky plays looking for highlight real saves. Edit Well rod fugged us on that he should have pulled Koch after goal 3 against the kings it was blatantly obvious it was a bad night, but nope he let's him sit in there to allow four more goals, its what killed raanta after that 7 goal Tampa game he was mentally fried, hes now also done it to Martin Kochetkov and Anderson (Anderson is the only one I'm fine with he literally just bounced back with two shutouts after it happened) but Anderson is a cool head large positioning goalie. I'm guessing we will have to ride Anderson in the playoffs until he's burnt out now.

This is rods biggest issue he absolutely refuses to adapt even when his way isn't working.... ron Rivera esque

I said it during the LA thread that rod was fugging him up worse leaving him out there to give up seven, the psychological has an outweighed effect on goalies man..... i can't think of any other coach that leaves a guy in to allow 7+ goals he's now done it too four goalies in the last year and a half

I agree with you about the cup, but you are being dense in the head, even with the epic meltdown Kochetkov is the #7 goalie in the NHL this year statisticaly and Freddie's numbers are Equal to Halleybuck (obviously hasn't played as much) The thing is if that's what you want pull for Freddie because they aren't going to find anyone close to his level right now

As a hurricane in the playoffs hes .928 2.12 GAA... But let's pretend that one breakaway and two power play goals in one period are his entire career. The OVERWHELMING majority of playoff games freddie has started for us that we lost were because we couldn't score, seriously look how many were 1-0 or 2-1

Freddie has a 2.07 GAA and a .918 save % this year, just an FYI those are equal numbers to Halybeck who is going to win the veniza....

Freddie is much more consistent, plays with excellent positioning.

I mean i like it ONLY if Rod doesn't have him as a healthy extra or a seventh d not getting any minutes, it isn't worth burning an ELC year if he's not playing big minutes
