Necas is restricted if Staal doesn't return we have the space to match anything. Also one thing that was much more apparent to me at ice level the Hurricanes are much much faster than the islanders and I don't just mean a few players every Cane is faster just about, could have something to do with them having to be playoff mode for two weeks already bit they are slower to begin with.

I honestly don't think it matters who is in net the Leafs play 0 defense and even less in the playoffs

As bad as we have played we have still out high danger chanced them by a lot 1.9 expected goals for the Canes to .9 for the Isles.... on 8 less shots.

I'm two feet from the ice and let me tell you they are getting away with a LOT in their defensive zone.
