To me, he is basically Ron with a more blitzing defense. Which is what I thought we needed all along, but if you don't like run first ball control offense, and you know who you are, Wilks is not your guy. It might not be fun to watch but he will win. Not many shootouts, but more wins than we have seen in the last 4 years for sure.

The Charlotte pipe land that is for sale, would not have a stadium on it in 5 years. I was a contractor that went in and out of that place for 15 years and I can tell you that several feet of the topsoil of that land will have to be replaced before they can even being to build any new buildings on that site. They melt scrap metal in the buildings and have contaminated a large section if all of the land in that area. The clean up of that land and the teardown of all the buildings on it alone will take a couple of years. It's a great, really a perfect, location. It's just Charlotte Pipe has been there for over 100 years melting scrap iron and there is a lot to do to if if you want to use it for anything else. All you have to do is drive by the facility and look at all the vehicles in the parking lot and look at the black soot covering them. Trust me I blew it out of my nose for days every time I went over there.

I think 2008 we had the fewest sacks that year in the history of the Panthers and a 1600 yard & 800 yard rb. 2009 had the same line and two 1000 yard rb and a god awful QB who forgot what our jersey's look like and just threw it to anyone in the secondary.

Marcus is basically Teddy who can run. But with the team they have now, that might get you 8 or 9 wins. Teddy behind this line and with this defense is a borderline playoff team.

That is only true during the offseason. During the regular season everyone counts. Including practice squad. And since only the top 51 count, during the offseason, you don't need 7-8 million for a draft class no matter how many picks you have. Everyone after the 4th round will not count towards the cap because their cap hit will be to low. Usually 2-3 million is all a draft class counts unless you are in the top 5 picks. Then it could be as high as 4 million.

A competent O line is more valuable than a competent corner. You can't fix a O line with 1 player.

I don't know if anyone noticed this or not but Heartsfield left the game in the early part of the 3rd quarter. When he left the game the Jets had something like 80 yards of offense in the game. Our defense was mixing coverages on almost ever play. After he left we put Chandler in at safety and Chinn moved to nickle. The Jets scored 14 points and had almost 200 yards of offense. We played exclusively zone after Heartsfield left. If he can't play next week this defense becomes much more predictable. Just saying.

Shaq, Darnold, and the whole Dline. Maybe the Jet's Oline is poo, but our Dline looked like a playoff defense by itself today.

People forget how many injuries we had last year. CMC yeah but Jackson missed a ton of time with his foot and the games he played a lot of time he was out by halftime. The OL in general was all banged up on the left side all season. Thoes were or 2 weakest positions and we were still in most all of the games and with a better qb probably win 7 or 8 games. So I see 8 games min with a max of 12. I will go 11 wins. And if people really think the Saints are going to be good I don't get what they are seeing. If they win at least 8 games I will find Alice and give him a kiss. I think they are a 5 or 6 win team.
