  1. Coker is a dude. We got something in him.
  2. It was a hard hit, no doubt. Not exactly sure why folks are so up in arms about it. He got flagged for it. Tough hit on a guy coming off a concussion. I didn’t see any malice or ill intent. Undisciplined at worst.
  3. It was a Burns trade reference, but thanks for participating. I’m actually a Clowney fan. He’s a good dude.
  4. I hope in my heart that somewhere deep down that was at least a small part of motivation for Foster. Probably wasn’t, but a guy can dream, right?
  5. In those other years he wasn’t coming off a significant knee injury. I want him to be out there too, but I’m not trying to see him do a Thomas Davis impersonation.
  6. It’s going to take a while for him to get in football shape. His snap count should be very conservative until he’s got his confidence back in that knee. A setback or re-injury would be devastating.
  7. Oh absolutely, it’s both good for the college game and bad for the future all at the same time. Toss in the rule changes and inconsistency from the zebras week to week and the fundamentals will soon be a distant memory to the watered-down product they call “football”.
  8. Each part of this is interesting. 1) College has adapted to simplifying the game to accommodate the athletes cycling thru without needing to teach them basically anything. The NFL has not adjusted to this nor do they have the ability. 2) I’ve often thought a D-league equivalent would boost the quality of the product on the field. Just not sure how the NFL can make it an “earner” and if it don’t make dollars it don’t make sense. 3) The QB evolution has had a profound impact on the game. Gone are the days of statuesque QBs standing in the pocket reading coverages. It’s now more about either one read and go, or keep the play alive until coverage breaks down.
  9. 2? lol, I wouldn’t bet a ham sandwich on Carolina +2 TDs. Lay 24 in front of me and I’d think about throwing in a bag of chips to go with the sandwich.
  10. The rookie wage scale began in 2011. By my math that was about 13 years ago.
  11. Since the offensive line is the least shitty part of the team, a young QB could theoretically develop here. Then build the defense as you go. But who knows man? This roster is so ass it’s hard to pick a starting point.
  12. Without the rookie wage scale, a lot of these QBs wouldn’t have been drafted so high.
  13. Man some of yall don’t make a damn bit of sense. We got a guy showing some emotion like he actually cares about this flaming dumpster fire and you wanna say some dumb poo like “nOt A gOoD LoOk”
  14. It’s a difficult position to be in trying to defend this team at any level, roster, coaching, front office or ownership. I’m not even sure what needs to be fixed first because I’m not sure you can fix both the roster and coaching at the same time. We either go cheap on the roster while trying to put together a competent staff/front office combo or we stick with the staff we have and retool the roster? Continuity has to come from somewhere. We can’t have constant change in all phases of this organization. If I had to guess I’d say keep Canales and give him a chance to build the roster the way he wants. QB being the most important position, he at least deserves to put “his” guy out there. Best we can hope for is that he learns from his mistakes and figures it out. The roster is so bad it’s going to take multiple years just to get back to a baseline of average starter talent with some competent back ups. And that will require a competent FO… good lord we may never be good again.
  15. What is there to be unsure of? Maybe some HGH in the offseason to grow a little? Finally learn some fundamentals? Find a single solitary competitive spark? Little bro is on the fast track to SEC TV.
  16. I’d rather see him sit and rot than take another snap. Put the practice squad guy out there at least he has an excuse to suck ass.
  17. At this point what are we really talking about, trade wise? A 4th? A 3rd? Wgaf? Either take the first offer someone makes or just cut him. Wash hands and walk away.
  18. He’s boiled garbage juice. There is literally nothing about this tiny weak armed boy with the mechanics of a backup high school QB that can be salvaged. He is done. Bust of all busts. An eternal embarrassment of a pick for an eternal embarrassment of an owner.
  19. They actually pulled that off? Miracle play.
  20. That was my first thought but dudes get drafted from places like that all the time. I think I remember him having a slow 40 or something?
